I don't know why he would. We don't have any more "holes" on this team. (In reality, we do...but Hendry had addressed everything:leadoff, rigthfield, bullpen) I could understand (not necessarily agree) trading Walker to improve somewhere like rightfield, lead-off, centerfield, bullpen...when those weren't filled in other ways. But now, it only makes sense to trade Walker for a legitimate upgrade. Our offense is still the weak part of this team. If Hendry trades Walker, then not only is he stupid, but he'll prove his stubborness takes precedence over creating a good ball club. Walker is better than any secondbaseman we have. He's signed a RF...and traded for a lead-off CF...Walker isn't expensive, so there's no need to dump his salary. Trading Walker "just for the hell of it" makes no sense. I can't see it happening. If it does, it will be a dumber move than locking up Jockcrap Jones to a three year deal.
