Voting Zambrano in would be voting for his reputation, not his season. His first two months, he was the biggest black hole the starting rotation has had so far this year. Yes, he's been lights out for like 4 or 5 starts, and he's probably more talented than most pitchers who will be there, but I don't think he has earned the trip this year and I do not want to see him go. Plus, I want all his efforts going toward the Cubs this season. On the other hand, if it were a given that the Cubs will be in the World Series this year, then I'd say yes, do everything we can to get the Cubs HFA. But Cubs making the World Series is like Wood and Prior both getting off the DL. Don't do it.

Oh yea, and my favorite thing about this video is that it shows how at the beginning of the month, the Cubs were at their lowpoint and truly laughably bad, and yet they ended up having their best month of baseball since September 03. With how wild all those events were, the fact that so many things ended up going right makes it freaking awesome. -
He came up huge today, and I think he even got pulled a little sooner than he should have. Over the entire rest of the season, I can see him being the least effective starter in the rotation and draggin on the team some, but unless he just completely craps the bed from here on out, I'd say he's done pretty well to earn his keep.

What the crap is with the commercials on gameday audio?? Stadium noise in lieu of commercials was one of the highlights of this whole thing.
