  1. Yeah, even Seiya who's been struggling for a while, is way better than Pete. Maybe, Castro is better than Pete, too, which is very sad.
  2. Definitely, Mets. They are good only at home, well usually.
  3. You know what? Yes, the Cubs offense has been bad for long time, but if the Brewers are still a game or two below the Cubs, most of us would feel happy enough right now. At the moment, the Cubs is like two games above the Dodgers and four games above the Padres. Only the Phillies would be better than the Cubs, if the Brewers didn't start winning like crazy a month or two ago. Now, the Brewers started losing, but it's most likely too late for the Cubs to catch up.
  4. I somewhat disagree. - The Dodgers are a game or two below .500 after ASB. They just got swept by the Pirates. Pretty pathetic, IMO. That being said, I'm not sure which team is the scariest against the Cubs now. Their bullpen isn't particularly good, either. SPs could be scary with Snell, Yamamoto, Kershaw Glassnow and Ohtani, though. - The Phillies: I agree about Wheeler. They still have good SPs, and they might be the scariest to me. - The Brewers: I agree with you. - The Mets don't play well away games. If the Cubs face the Mets in Chicago (most likley), we would have good chance beating them. If I remember correctly, they don't like lefties, and most likely, Shota and Boyd will start and we also have Thielbar and Pomerantz. I don't want to mention Rogers. Oh, I just did.😄 - The Padres: I'd rather face the Mets in Chicago than the Padres. Yes, SPs are a mess, but they have great bullpen. I don't know when King will come back. Either way, for some reason, the Pares are scarier than the Mets to me.
  5. Wow, I don't even remember when the last time Hodge did no hit, no walk. Seems like his velocity is getting better.
  6. Yeah, Shaw has been impressive defensively, after he came back from Iowa.
  7. Yeah, he is likeable, and I hope he gets better. And, I agree Craig should have used Ben.
  8. 2 ER for Ben. He didn't disappoint. Well, I just felt sad saying this.
  9. When Seiya struck out, which happens a lot, 95% of the time, it's either slider or looking.
  10. Thanks for the info. He's been actually better than I thought, and I thought he's been really great.
  11. I was just thinking what happened to Ben's Changeup. I threw it, and struck the guy out.
  12. Ben gave up at least one run in the last 10 games or so, if I remember correctly. The Cubs just need to score more.
  13. I agree. Shota, Cade, then Boyd would be the way to go.
  14. Oh, I remember that one. He was done in the middle of the 2nd.
  15. I think in the last 2 months, ERA is less than 1.50.
  16. More than likely, Ben Brown will come up next. We need more runs.
  17. No hitter! I don't think Cade will be back for the 6th.
  18. Shota could have pitched one more inning yesterday, but he didn't, which was good.
  19. Yeah, I know that, but I wish he can pitch 90 or so, which he did in July. But, for now, we don't want any of our SP to get injured. So, it's fine.
  20. In the last two months, he's one of the best for sure. He just needs to pitch one or two more innings per game. Then, he'll be perfect.
  21. Yeah, after that, I think he didn't hit for the last 5 games or so, until today. I didn't expect a hit from him, so that was great.
