  1. Wow, Rea is impressive today. The best I've ever seen.
  2. 1st walk by Greene. Still no hit, though.
  3. The lineup looks great. I was thinking this lineup, when I saw yesterday's lineup. Carson, instead of Reese should make a big difference, moving down Dansby and PCA to #7 and 8 should work. Will score more than 4 runs, like they did yesterday.😁 Seiya needs to start hitting better, though. Today, I read an article about Seiya being a Greene killer. So, hopefully, he can hit a couple of hits today.
  4. Yeah, that would be. I remember the Mets were the best team, until Senga injured in June. Then, for some reason, they started losing, and never really came back.
  5. Oh, that sucks. We still have chance, though.
  6. As of right now (Dodgers vs Phillies still going on 9/17), my prediction (obviously, I could be very wrong) for these teams at the end of the season will be: Cubs: 93 Wins Dodgers: 91 Wins Padres: 90 Wins So, yeah, we will face the Padres in Chicago first, and we'll beat them. And, hopefully, the Cubs will beat the Brewers in NLDS. Assuming, the Dodgers advance to NLCS against the Cubs,, we have home field advantage, right? We have a good chance beating LA. I don't really want to see the Phillies. So, I'm hoping the Dodgers will beat them. Am I too optimistic?
  7. Me, too. I was good to see him catching the last one, and had a little interview.
  8. You know what? I don't really care about clinching, either. But, more wins would definitely be better, because my guess is that both the Dodgers and the Padres will win 89~91 games. We need home games, when we face them. The Padres might pass the Dodgers.
  9. What's Nico's OBP this month, including today? Must be close to .500.
  10. Yes. Only 3 games, but he's been great.
  11. Civale is looking good. Maybe, he'll come back for another inning?
  12. Hey, maybe, the Cubs score the 5th run now.
  13. We're all frustrated by Boyd, because he was so good before the AB. The Pirates scored only 1 run in the last two games. Then, Boyd gave up 3 in the first inning. Plus, the Cubs can't score more than 4 runs. If we are 8-4 right now, we wouldn't be complaining this much about Boyd. Everyone wants to see the good Boyd, and he had a chance today against the Pirates.
  14. Yeah, Jamo just came back, and it's too early to tell. But, if Boyd gives up 4 or 5 runs every game for the rest of the season (hopefully, he'll skip at game, though), and Jame continues strong, which isn't certain. But, right now, I feel better with Jamo.
  15. I don't call it "short term". It's been about 7 weeks. I agree Boyd is a better pitcher than Jamo, but not right now.
  16. No. Like I said, Jamo would be better.
  17. Now, they have to score more than 4 runs to win.
  18. Jeez, why is it so hard to score more than 4?
  19. I don't know. Right now, I feel more comfortable with Jamo.
