  1. Not so far this season. VS AB H K BB AVG OBP SLG OPS lefties 68 13 20 3 .191 .225 .309 .534 righties 233 59 58 13 .253 .293 .416 .709 He did last year. vs AVG OBP SLG OPS lefties .289 .328 .491 .819 righties .258 .317 .437 .754
  2. You realize that Corey hits better against lefties than righties, right?
  3. How many players go out there and become perfect top of the order hitters out the gate? Very few. Cedeño can put up Neifi's current numbers at the 2 spot now itself and has a future; if Ronny is in the big leagues, I see no reason why Neifi should hit 2 rather than Ronny (or start over him). Don't you remember? When you aren't scoring a lot of runs you need to have defense. Does Ronny have a gold glove? I think not.
  4. So that doesn't mean he is better then Abreu now which was my point and there is no way Dunn is better right now. If you are trying to figure out a potential trade target, age is definately a factor. Dunn can certainly help the team this year but he can also improve for many more years if he is signed long term. He will probably be playing the game a lot longer than Abreu since there is a 6 year difference in age. miguel cabrera is younger Good idea. I have a trade proposal!!! rusch, mitre, welly, ice, koronka, piggy, pinto, wells, mathes, sing, dope, theroit, murton, dubois, patterson, 3 PTBNL, and 15 mil in cash for cabrera, pierre, and burnett

  9. I think our pick in that draft worked out ok.
  10. I would say he is much better than Dunn. Dunn has never come close to hitting .300 and Abreu is a career .306 hitter. He also gets on base MORE than Dunn. And is a huge threat to steal. And he is a great base stealer 60 for his last 68 sb attempts. Dunn has more power but Abreu still can hit 30+ homers. Actually he is on pace for 34 this year Dunn on pace for 41. But Dunn is only on pace for 129 hits and Abreu is on pace for 184. Dunn is also 25 years old and has improved every year before this one.
  11. That's what I call the Yankees b/c of there corrupt business. I figured you were referring to them. I wouldn't say that they are corrupt. They do nothing against the rules. They just spend a bunch of money, which is perfectly legal as long as they pay all of they taxes and fees and whatnot.
  12. No he's not. Andruw jones is. He's from the Netherlands..edit: a Caribbean island that is part of the Netherlands.. :D
  13. What happened to Jimy?
  14. They have a manager with common sense. Are you sure about that?
  15. Also, if it would happen this year I would be going to Gibsons in the following week or so for a large steak dinner on my friend, who happens to be a Cardinals fan. Hopefully it isn't the other way around because I don't feel like paying for that...
  16. Apparently Piggy is in the bullpen down at Iowa... He pitched 2 innings and got 3 Ks today without giving up anything. Also, Soto went 0-2 with 2 walks.
  17. I think it is because Wilkerson is amazing. Him and Chad Cordero.
  18. Abreu is better than Dunn but I wouldn't say that he is >>>>> better. Although, I guess it depends on how much value you put into each >.
  19. Also, Ron if you are out there, do you have any sort of update on Felix and when he will be back or how he is feeling?
  20. Not a pretty day down on the farm for many of the pitchers. Welly though 3 innings: 5 hits, 3 ER, 1 BB, 5 K Estrada through 4 innings: 7 H, 5 R, 3 ER, 0 BB, 4 K and the cherry on top! Juan Mateo: 0 IP, 6 H, 7 R, 5 ER, 1 BB - Note: that's right, no outs. Pinto started out well with 1 hit, 2 BB, 1 K, and no runs through 3 innings with a 7:1 groundout to fly out ratio. However, he got into some trouble in the 4th, giving up 2 earned runs on 3 hits.
  21. I was thinking the same thing during parts of that interview, especially the part about him sitting down vs lefties. I kept thinking that he was going to say something that might get him in trouble in the clubhouse.
  22. That's why it doesn't happen.
  23. Agreed. Pedro was pretty crazy a couple of years ago when he was healthy.
