  1. If Favre can't move and continues to make bad decisions then he's a downgrade from Tarvaris. Belichick will tee off on him and send blitzes all day to keep knocking him down because he'll have a target on his back. I have no idea what to expect out of Tarvaris. The best football of his life was a 4-game stretch heading into the playoffs when he replaced an injured Frerotte. He had Berrian and Bobby Wade instead of Moss and Percy. Teams will have to adjust their defenses slightly or he'll break off huge runs that teams were giving to Brett but he couldn't take advantage of them. He's also probably good for 4-5 awful passes off his back foot that should be easy completions.
  2. Childress said the referee came over to him and apologized after Rodgers scramble for not calling holding on the LT. How do you apologize right after a play? If you know it was a holding right away, just call it. That was just an awful crew.
  3. Give it up Dilfer. This is going to be the most annoying storyline ever.
  4. It's his deal. Back to the officiating that was just horrendous all game. They didn't call a hold all game, right? At most it was one. They blew the TD to Quarless but Childress still blew it by not challenging it when he should have. The back judge was standing 5 feet from Percy in the end zone and he wasn't even close to getting his right foot down. It was just terrible all around.
  5. He definitely threw him under the bus when talking about the pick 6. I have no problem with that. He said the play was designed to go to Percy and he had no idea why he went to the left side because Percy was in "big air". I just re-wound it and watched it. It was 2nd and 6, Percy was wide open right at the first down marker but Brett never even glanced his way. He locked in on Moss who was covered, then panicked when the pressure came and threw a pick 6. Shank was wide on that right side also. If Percy was the primary, Chilly should call him out there.
  6. And now Dilfer is freaking out and acting like Childress called Favre an [expletive] in the press conference. ESPN will beat this thing into the ground all week.
  7. No. It doesn't matter if the ball hits the ground as long as the receiver controls the ball which he did. The ball never moved.
  8. We lost two games in OT on blatant penalties on Rodgers (one of them a playoff game). I'll take being the beneficiary of some calls . Plus blowing the whistle early on Kuhn's 4th down attempt probably took points away from us too. I think his forward progress was stopped on that play. I understand that and you can live with bad calls. I just can't forgive a botched review. Like I said they don't overturn anything in this league unless it's completely obvious. That ball never moved and he had control the entire time. No way that should have been overturned.
  9. [expletive] the state of Wisconsin. Damnit. 2-5 after next week at New England. This sucks. I can't believe the only deep shot we took to Moss was the one right before half where he got called for offensive PI. Never seen Childress so pissed after a loss.
  10. That loss was all on Favre and the offensive coaches though. The o-line was mauling them and Adrian was a beast. Feed him the [expletive] ball. Then we have 1st down from the 15 and have two boneheaded penalties to make it 2nd and 30.
  11. Hey at least there wasn't a terrible call that cost us 4 points or anything in a game we lost by 4 points. Wait.... Seriously I know I'm bitter and whining but in a league where they don't overturn anything unless it's so blatantly obvious Hellen Keller could call it, how did that [expletive] get overturned?
  12. Great now we've only kind of been bent over and not completely.
  13. KEEP FEEDING HIM DUMBASSES!
  14. Doesn't matter. Coaches think this is the Favre of last year.
  15. Then tell your coaches to do their job and challenge a [expletive] play. It was obvious in real time he didnt catch it. EDIT: Unless you are talking about the Shiancoe TD then yea ignore what I said lol Right, talking about Shank's TD
  16. Know what would be nice? The 4 points we got robbed of that would make this a tied game.
  17. They must follow through on the league mandate.
  18. Allen was held beyond belief on that scramble.
  19. Right when I'm cussing at him and done with him he leads that kind of drive...
  20. He might finally be done.
  21. Hasn't been all year. Neither has Ray. This is why I said Rodgers would have a field day.
  22. Yeah thanks for that. Asher and Walker have no defense against the quick slant.
  23. Sooner or later you guys are going to catch Frank Walker for a long PI or TD. With Cook apparently hurt we're down 2 of our top 3 CB's again.
  24. Rest assured the officiating crew has a memo from on high to not let you lose this game. And if anyone wants to search my posts you'll see this is the first time in forever I've complained about officiating. That was garbage in the first half. Well don't blame the refs for not challenging the Quarless "catch." That's on the head coach. We definitely got a break on the Shiancoe play, I'll give you that. The Moss play was a push off too. 4 points is quite a break from the officiating crew, plus you should have no challenges left. I won't argue that he pushed, but the CB didn't get moved. That happens on every deep ball that's covered and rarely called in this league.
