Maybe it'll change as we get closer to the offseason, but I've been pleasantly surprised at how Tucker's impending free agency hasn't been the main story. A lot of that is due to how many guys are having great seasons and that's what's made it so fun. Tucker's been fantastic but hasn't been our best player by WAR. And 2 other guys besides that are also in the same neighborhood as him in terms of wRC+/OPS etc (granted Busch has been shielded against bad matchups). Plus it's hard not to be excited about Shaw right now. I'm very happy this isn't entirely built on Tucker going all Aaron Judge on everyone, which after the first few weeks, seemed like the season had that potential.
