  1. That was a sneaky good play by Seiya to keep that a single prior to the pick off
  2. Down 2 in the 9th is low leverage. This is managing in the regular season
  3. Our catchers' ability to throw people out feels like a complete 180 from last year
  4. Our bullpen isn't especially well equipped for extras today. Just win in 9 please.
  5. That's gotta be challenged. Kind of a bad miss by the coaching staff
  6. So it looks like Skenes' transition into a Kris Bryant clone is fully complete
  7. Good adjustment. He had taken some real bad swings on fastballs and then does that
  8. I keep thinking their 3rd base coach is going to run into fair territory during the play to make his pointing at the ball even more obvious
  9. Maybe it'll change as we get closer to the offseason, but I've been pleasantly surprised at how Tucker's impending free agency hasn't been the main story. A lot of that is due to how many guys are having great seasons and that's what's made it so fun. Tucker's been fantastic but hasn't been our best player by WAR. And 2 other guys besides that are also in the same neighborhood as him in terms of wRC+/OPS etc (granted Busch has been shielded against bad matchups). Plus it's hard not to be excited about Shaw right now. I'm very happy this isn't entirely built on Tucker going all Aaron Judge on everyone, which after the first few weeks, seemed like the season had that potential.
  10. 3 more 100+ mph bullets from Seiya. That's what he does
  11. I had jump in the car earlier and Pat said the strikeout pitch to Greene in the 4th was about 98 mph lol.
  12. Literally laughed out loud at that 500 innings graphic by Marquee
