    I don’t watch NFL and don’t know how good or bad the Chicago Bears will be this year, but after looking at their record the last few years… you just know your night is most likely horsefeathered even if you flip over from the Cubs to the Bears, anyway.

    So I’ve been looking at the MLB standings. Cubs have the fifth best MLB record and three of the teams above us have between 2 and 1 wins more in the win column. So as much as we’ve been disappointed with the second half, let’s not overlook that everyone else have had their own second half struggles. No one besides Milwaukee have sprinted passed us and they’ve sprinted passed everyone. Baseball is wacky and long.

    This club haven’t won a proper 162 game division title in 8 years. Have a revenue stream that monsters that of their division rivals. Play in a huge market. Led this years division by 5+ games a couple of months ago and are likely going to lose it by 10 games when it’s all finished. And how are Cubs fans rewarded for their loyalty? By extending the man responsible for all of it.

    Team with many flaws ran out of steam down the stretch. Impressive how everyone could see that coming a mile away except Jed.

    I’m going to make a dumb call but that hasn’t stopped me before. I felt that Matt Shaw could have charged that baseball and definitely had a play at 1st. Maybe this could have been a different outcome.

    Counsel says Tucker will likely sit tomorrow, but could be available if he’s needed (as a PH I assume). I mean he may as well just PH today if that’s the case lol.

    Matthew Boyd: 5IP, 7 hits, 2 ER, 2 SO, 66 pitches thrown feels like the dumbest game log you’re ever going to see.

    With 21 games left, the Rockies need 1 more win to tie last years worst ever record. So much for all the talk of the Rockies would lose close to 130 games as it looked like they would be that bad. Just shows you how long the season is and how horsefeathers last years White Sox were.

    My stream has horsefeathers itself at the wrong times to the tune of about 8 of the Cub runs today lol. Just now the commentators are having general chit chat, while an AB is happening, then I see a cut to the crowd with fans trying to get to the baseball (Happ home run) and the commentators are still having the exact same conversation. Free sports streaming is funny as horsefeathers at times.
