    This is a statement inning from Toronto. 11-2 lead. Wow.

    Just as bad as watching a Cubs postseason game this year and one of the Fox commentators saying (paraphrasing) - “the roof on this building”. The game was being at Wrigley Field. WF doesn’t have a roof.

    Weird Baseball stat, this is the fifth time one LCS has ended in a sweep and the other LCS has gone to 7 games, the four times it’s happened the World Series has been won by the LCS winner that needed 7 games to make the World Series. Bodes well for Seattle or Toronto at least.

    That’s true. Just a shame the Ricketts still spend like this is a small market.

    Top 4 highest revenue last year. Probably around the mark again this year. It would be nice to see ownership spend on a roster capable of going further in the postseason.

    What weird machine built Shohei Ohtani? He is probably the greatest athlete in any sport in the world. Elite in two of the hardest skills in sport.

    Dodgers take an early 1-0 lead in Game 4 and the Brewers are going to need to do something they haven’t done all series. Score 2 runs.

    Milwaukee hitters trying to handle the Dodgers aces this series...

    I would have still liked to make the NLCS, but this is definitely funny. Brewers facing 8 from Snell and 9 from Yamamoto is just way too funny. Maybe Pat Murphy can read a second weird motivational letter.

    It was funny when Pat Murphy was reading fake Bob Uecker letters. Sometimes less is more.

    Pro - Won 92 games. For the first 2-3 months of the year outscored everyone. Kyle Tucker was great in the first half. Looked liked a division title was on the cards. Went 4-1 at home in the postseason. Cons - Stopped hitting in the second half. 3B issues all year. No bench to speak of. Pitching struggled at times. Kyle Tucker looked awful in the second half. Finished 2nd in the division. Went 0-3 on the road in the postseason. Future - Plug holes in the roster. Win the division.

    Don’t care who wins out of Toronto and Seattle. But Dodgers in 4 or 5 would be nice. I don’t want to feel like this year is a missed opportunity with Milwaukee winning this series. So a nice crushing by LA would be nice.

    Looks like Canada and Mexico are ready for next years World Cup.

    It was for the most part, but in Game 1 and 2 it was. But still, they scored 3 runs in each of those games.

    Losing a Game 5 to get eliminated sucks, but now that we know we have a 90+ winner there is no excuses for Jed and the Ricketts not to tackle the future and put a winner on the field moving forward. This series could have gone differently with Horton pitching (not to mention Steele). With those two back and hopefully with a real bench next year, we will get right back up there in the division again.

    Well, as our year is about to end in the next 10 minutes I just want to say it’s been fun posting in these game threads all year.

    Sadly, Kyle Tucker’s last two months of the season ended the same way as his spring training. Totally average at the plate.
