It's wild to think that Dansby was almost hidden in that ridiculous Braves lineup, but having watched a lot of Braves baseball because of my brother being a fan, I was still surprised by Dansby's game, leadership, preparation.

Man, I really feel for JK Dobbins. Missed all of 2021 with an ACL tear, finally fully healthy for the first time since his rookie season in 2020 and tears his Achilles. Just horrible injury luck.

I made just under $5k on Coco Gauff yesterday. I took her at +1400 to win the US Open back in early August when the ladies were in Montreal.

My favorite upsets for today... Pittsburgh (+114), New England (+164), and Las Vegas (+140).

Southern Illinois takes down Northern Illinois, 14-11. FCS schools were 0-45 vs. FBS opponents coming into Saturday. Last season, Southern Illinois defeated Northwestern on the road. Go Salukis!

One thing that I really miss is Gary Pressy behind the organ. There are some signature rally tunes that went with Gary that were as unique to Wrigley as the ivy itself. After hearing them all of my life, not hearing them anymore has been weird, to say the least.

I hate the added "entertainment" that came with the left field video board. The speakers are obnoxiously loud, to the point that it can be difficult to hear what is being said on the video board. The content itself just does not appeal to me. I enjoyed Wrigley as one of the few places where you could escape all of the "fan experience entertainment" and just enjoy the baseball experience. That part of Wrigley will unfortunately never return. I will always love our home, but bringing it up to the modern fan experience has taken a lot away from the Wrigley experience.

The Upper Box Infield will always be my preferred seat. There isn't a better ballpark view in baseball. I am a traditionalist like Irrelevant Dude and the only beer I will drink in and around Wrigley is Old Style. I am asked as a season ticket holder to make any recommendations for the ballpark/season ticket holder experience at the conclusion of every season and I always ask for more Old Style vendors. Food in Wrigley has a lot of room for improvement. Hot Doug's is always a winner. The North Side Twist pretzel is the perfect food to share with a date. For some reason, Wrigley got rid of the mini deep dish pizzas, but kept the nasty Homerun Inn pizza. Poor decision. Murphy's Bleachers and Sluggers are my two favorite pre-game spots. And yes, they serve Old Style!

Blow your mind fact, but in all my trips to Wrigley in my lifetime I have only sat in the lower bowl one time and that was as a kid when I was about 6. I'm long overdue to revisit the lower bowl. It's just that since I was old enough to buy my own tickets, I have always preferred the upper deck view.

Where are your seats? I've relocated every year since becoming a STH. Still searching/waiting for the right spot.

I joined the list in 2010/2011 at around 130,000 in line and got the call just before the 2020 season. The line slowed to a creep from 2015-2017, but other than those years I was making some big leaps.

Most sports broadcasts are insufferable these days. We used to get only the needed information sprinkled with a few interesting tidbits. Now it's non-stop talk and non-stop analysis. Sports analysis has really hurt every sport, IMO. I don't need one play or one at-bat broken down 50 different ways for 15 minutes. I don't care a thing about launch angle or exit velocity. Knowing one or the other doesn't change the outcome of the plate appearance. A homerun is a homerun, regardless of the path it traveled. That kind of stuff just junks up a broadcast.
