This is the Cubs we are talking about right, not the Rays, Red Sox or Angels who are all better than them? When did Sabathia, Lincecum, Halladay or Santana get traded to the Cubs? Lilly has looked better lately, that is for sure Dont' see how this matters much Yeah the Cubs do well with a lead late. The Cubs had more wins than each of those teams except the Angels. Unfortunately, the Angels run differential was +68 in a pathetic division, while the Cubs was 184 in the 2nd best division in baseball. Harden had a 2.07 ERA and a 1.06 WHIP this season. He had 181 strikeouts in 148 innings. He may not pitch as often as the others, but when he's on the mound he's as good as it gets. And he should be allowed to go further than usual in Game 3. It matters because although the Dodgers will have HFA in games 3 and 4, the Cubs will still have plenty of support unlike most teams playing in LA. Not a huge difference but it helps.
