My outlook on the playoffs would be a lot different if I knew Cade would get his normal innings. I sense a shutdown coming in September and I don't like it (even though I understand it)

If the 15/16/17 teams went into a slump like this, they would call some sort of a team meeting and get it together. I've yet to hear any reports of this team having one of those "team meetings" where they yell at each other and figure it out. They seem content being a wildcard team

Seiya to LF, Mo at DH and IMO the Cubs get better. They'd never do that to a vet like Happ but the truth is, the Cubs need a guy that can spray singles and doubles and I'd already take Mo's bat over Ian's

I wish Shaw was at 2b, Nico at SS, and Dansby someone else's problem. All dreaming aside, Shaw has been the story of the 2nd half.
