  1. I hope Ben can go 1-2-3 in the bottom of the 5th because I sure as hell wouldn't let him face Ohtani for the 3rd time
  2. I just hope they don't let it get to free agency, that would be a colossal failure. After the Yanks missed out on Soto last year, I don't see them making that mistake twice. Tucker will get a blank check from them.. 10 years and 450-470 is extremely reasonable
  3. Wow, that would be something. Praying that it's true.
  4. Michael Busch is so good. That might be Jed's best trade ever, assuming they cheap out and don't pay Tucker
  5. This one turned ugly fast. Hopefully they can make it interesting
  6. You don't think Steele's that dude? I think I read somewhere that he has the 2nd or 3rd best ERA in the game in the years 2022-2024. He's not only borderline great but remarkably consistent. He doesn't even have a lot of mileage on that arm so he'd be a great extension candidate
  7. horsefeathers Turner should be in a retirement home instead of playing baseball let alone 1st base
  8. At least it’s an easy decision now, when Javy Assad gets back. I love Ben but he really needs a viable 3rd pitch to be a starter here
  9. I know this sounds petty, but it's been rewarding to see how bad Morel has sucked for Tampa Bay and how bad Wesneski and Parades have been for Houston so far. Maybe Jed is alright
  10. Why take him out? Keep the pathetic bullpen fresh for tomorrow
  11. Sure would be nice to see PCA come through here with an RBI.
  12. I'd extend him for the right price, still a big time pitcher despite the early struggles. Probably closer to a #2 than an ace but I wouldn't mind a Steele extension, 5 years 110 mill
  13. If the Cubs let him walk then I'm never watching another game lol. JK I will but that would be a greater transgression than the way they treated Sammy Sosa after he turned white
  14. I like Seiya, hope the Cubs resign him when the time comes. Great DH and spot OFer
  15. Counsell is a great manager for what he did in Milwaukee, but he's been a very average manager in his time with the Cubs
