  1. if my son wants to get drunk and drive around when he's 12, he's for damn sure going to understand the risks beforehand. whatever he does with that information is up to him.
  2. darwin barney batting second and reed johnson pinch hitting vs a rhp with fukudome available call this fan club into question. EDIT and let's quit batting marlon byrd third.
  3. Mike Pouncey. With the free agency of Justin Blaylock, Tyson Clabo and Harvey Dahl combined with Todd McClure's inevitable retirement, the interior line is a need. Not the sexiest of picks, but a quality player from a quality school that can play either guard position or center. Between Pouncey and Mike Johnson, (3rd round G out of Alabama from last year) we should be ok on the inside of the line.
  4. or his ability to beat the lipper average into ability to beat the league batting average (everything i know about money comes from commercials during sporting events)
  5. in fairness, harvey has had those many millions in interest-bearing accounts for so long that he probably has zillions by now too
  6. way to go, petard
  7. wait, we're platooning two right handed guys now? i was pretty optimistic about dewitt/baker. i don't see why barney isn't just junk.
  8. 6. Cleveland Browns - Marcell Dareus This pick is easy. Dareus is the best defensive player left on the board. With the Browns moving to a 4-3 defense, Dareus is the perfect DT for the new system. Good against the run and an effective pass rusher, Dareus is an ideal guy to build the new D-line around.
  9. that would be a great zinger ed wade: "what does this sammich guy make a year" hendry: "uhhh, i don't remember, i don't think it's too bad" ed wade: "fair enough, send him over" hendry: "suckaaaaaaaaaaaaa"
  10. Michael Young instead of CJ Wilson and the rest is right. 5. Hamilton 51. Beltre 47. Feliz 63. Kinsler 67. Cruz 90. Young 95. Andrus a 33 year old third baseman who has ops'ed over 800 once in the last four years should probably not be considered a top 100 player.
  11. yeah, please remember to do this, i'm really thinking of buying something.
  12. give me cleveland too, i have a draft nut buddy who is a fan of them as well.
  13. one of my friends is a falcons fan, give me the falcons and i'll have him help me
  14. ONE that clip is funny TWO the fact that people who like stupid tosh.0 change the channel when this comes on makes me think i should check it out
  15. the combination of a crap team and the 37 presales they asked me to buy my way into or whatever have worked to prevent me from having any interest in this whatsoever. i'm really excited to watch games on tv, and i suspect i'll end up grabbing some on the secondary market, but man am i ever not enthusiastic about this.
  16. let's see if the pirates and rays are as dumb as most of america and go along with this
  17. thank you, what would you rate as the most comprehensive of metrics? and which one for this particular case errors
  18. maybe his name is davearm2 because he REALLY wants us to think he has two arms because he is j. walter weatherman, kind of conveying important messages
  19. i can confidently say i would be embarrassed if my favorite player did stuff like that.
  20. this league is never coming back because i want to be the REIGNING CHAMPION forever
  21. between the white sox, the cardinals, and the packers, it's pretty brutal rooting against three teams with such ingrained white trash fan bases and players.
