Summarize for someone who was getting pizz..er, nachos and only had radio at that point? basically, teams are way too conservative trying to score on sac flies with one out. your likelihood of scoring with two outs and a man on third just isn't that high (even with rizzo on deck) compared to your odds of scoring from third on a fly ball, even a short fly ball with a slow guy on third. with fowler on third and one out, he should basically always go as long as an outfielder catches it. btw i could swear maddon talked about it which is why im pretty sure he will address it yeah, i think i heard him mention it and then read an article about it somewhere that laid out all the numbers with the base states and everything. it said that runners make it like 90% of the time on sac flies and that was way, way, way too high. can't find the article for the life of me right now, though.
