  1. That actually makes some sense and gives me a place to start looking, thanks.
  2. I’ve been using this software daily for years now and I’ve never seen this happen. How did you do it?
  3. It's really a stupid promotion. Bartman wasn't even the reason the Cubs lost. Pretty sure booting a double play ball was what did the trick.
  4. When I saw that photo, the choice was obvious.
  5. I'm going to force your account into wingdings.
  6. This is a really cool resource. Information is a bit sparse because we're just getting started but as we create articles and videos about these prospects, each prospect's content will become more substantial. The really useful feature that's available right now is that it has up-to-date stats on all 20 prospects. It's really handy to catch up on what guys are doing in the minors without needing to type ten different names into B-Ref. https://northsidebaseball.com/chicago-cubs-top-prospect-rankings/
  7. Site traffic is marginally higher than it was last year. The initial drop-off is expected, I even mentioned it a couple of times during the transition period. Any kind of significant change and some people walk away. Now the work begins to start growing and expanding the site footprint. Most of my work in the coming months will be about SEO, social media, aggregators, and content. We're investing pretty heavily into Facebook and our new page has about 2,000 likes. Our Twitter account is trudging along and growing as well. It's impossible to not think about traffic at all but at this stage of the process, I try not to prioritize it. Right now it's about laying the foundation of a site with a breadth of quality content that it draws in new users. Because the best way to draw in new users is to make them know you exist (social, SEO, aggregators) and then engage them with good content. And that part is a grind. Brewer Fanatic is about 13 months old now so we have one month of YoY data. We're currently sitting +95% in users YoY and we didn't launch that nearly as strongly as we launched here. We're in it for the long haul and it's... a long haul.
  8. Due to a couple of complaints about the body font, we've created an alternative. You can now go to your profile, edit profile, and scroll until you see radio buttons that read "Default" and "Roboto". Flip the font over to Roboto and the site body font changes. It's still a little buggy and I have some cleanup work to do but it's 90% of the way there so I thought I'd let everyone know about it.
  9. I just squashed a few that I had in my backlog but I don't use dark mode so if there's a bug, please list it here and I'll take care of it.
  10. Okay, thanks. I'll add it to the bug list to look into.
  11. You're getting a bubble icon when articles are posted? At the top right of your screen? If so, that shouldn't happen. If you confirm this is the case, I'll look into it.
  12. There was too much happening last night for me to catch this game. The Twins were in a tight match all night, the Wolves were playing the Lakers, and this game got out of hand in a hurry so I tuned out. I'm sorry I missed this comeback, it sounds amazing.
  13. Yep, and that should be fixed now. Are you still seeing it? I just fixed that maybe an hour ago.
  14. Okay, now that we're out of the woods on a few things, I've moved the social forum up the ladder and all verified members can see it. It is still invisible to guests and provisional members (anyone with under three posts), which I think is the correct way to go with that. Someone should have to post a couple pieces of non-troll commentary before gaining access to that forum. I've moved some of the lower-trafficked forums below the featured blog post.
  15. Grrrr. I still don't have control panel access to the ads. My apologies for any annoying delays, I'm just waiting to gain access so I can start toggling a bunch of switches and refine the ad displays.
  16. @jersey cubs fan is on a hot streak, they get today's game thread again!
  17. Okay, this should be fixed now. Thank you for letting me know.
  18. No, apparently not. Thought it was. I’ll gift you an extra month for being a guinea pig, working to see if I can sort out the issue today.
  19. Ugh, that’s still not working? Sorry, I’ll look into it asap. Also, the first day of ads suck. I can’t do anything until my control panel is operational, which happens some time tomorrow morning.
  20. That's the seventh nipple I've seen today.
  21. Wouldn't make sense for it to be any other organization.
  22. It appears @Bertz is a good luck charm. Had to check out after a few innings to dye eggs with my kids and came back to a clear cut victory.
