he should have been playing there anyway. There are no backup infielders now. There's a reason why he wasn't playing there. Not sure why Fox isn't in. you do know that they can move derosa if they need to.
it's amazing how many people underrate a guy who has put up a 900+ ops the last 3 of 4 seasons. wow. for the record, i like weeks, but he's having some problems. the brewers are realizing that he's not a top of the lineup hitter.
This is off topic, but Brock sucked horribly with the Cubs, and the fact that he became an early version of Rickey Henderson after he left was bad luck, not a terrible deal. lou brock was never rickey henderson.
the cubs turnaround was pretty much inevitable, given their win-expectancy. they are a good team that was unlucky for much of the first half and that luck is now evening out a bit.
