  1. i don't think it will be easy, but i think people don't want urlacher to have that quick turnaround for the packers, who are the better team and a divisional opponent.
  2. I know. Half of Madison is crazy over cycling though, it seems. There are many, many people here who care about it. fond du lac is like a fief of cyclists/triathletes. we have a shop in town called attitude sports that's owned by this guy who thinks he is lance armstrong http://www.attitudesports.com/bike.htm, he must be devastated today.
  3. meatbally mcmeathead. i would advise tice to throw the ball and throw it a lot.
  4. it's about time. next up, usain [expletive] bolt.
  5. they're going to accuse him of a crime he didn't commit, so he'll escape into the mountains, leaving behind the only life he ever knew.
  6. ahahahahahaha
  7. After taking the team flight to NYC. When you're cut, you've got nothing. No cash, no credit, no recent decent job history. You're stuck in whatever city they decide to dump you in. "Where am I?" "New York City." You do whatever work comes your way. You rely on anyone who's still talking to you. they may try to get him to the practice squad, in which case he's still an employee.
  8. i predict 12-4 barring injury to jay cutler
  9. it really doesn't matter
  10. yeah, i would be. i actually post at chicagobears.com and i'm not a huge fan of where everyone seemed to be going: chicitysports.com
  11. jason goff was on the score a couple days ago saying that he's not sure that he'd take anybody over gordon beckham defensively at second base. i don't generally call in to the score but i was tempted to call him out and say that he's not close to the best second baseman in chicago. he's on with boers and bernstein today, bernstein called beckham a competent fielder, which he is, but that his range is below average. goff then began to say that bernsy was selling beckham short, and bernsy started talking about UZR and looked up the numbers. he explained UZR first and then went over the rankings. beckham's like -2, goff asked who was #1, bernsy said darwin barney at +19. i was glad that goff got his comeuppance. i love dan bernstein most of the time.
  12. it's not so much the steroids but the incredible strength he suddenly has.
  13. just get them back and lets have a season of football. in the long run, it's not a huge deal as all refs are inherently anti-my teams, though.
  14. i really don't want to look, but i find it hard to believe that the officials are asking the league for a back-breaking amount of money, here.
  15. extra points if you make people cry as they realize he's slowly returning to normal.
  16. you should make him smart after he gets the crayon up his nose removed.
  17. i don't know if i'd say a majority. some of it surely sucks, though. i think saying a majority of it sucks is just being a steel-can-beer-drinking hipster.
  18. he's saying that he can read, just not recognize funny
  19. Have they ever done anything good? this is weird. you know the onion did this, right? same people that did this: http://www.theonion.com/articles/shaq-misses-entire-second-half-with-pulled-pork-sa,2895/
  20. no one knows this yet. tice seems to have the respect and admiration of the players, and they seem to like whatever system he's running better than martz's. that doesn't mean it's going to work any better. martz was the anti-meathead, tice is the quintessential, that may have more to do with the players liking him more.
  21. let's also not get wrapped up in everyone having to love each other. we knew what martz was when he came to town and he was far more successful here than the previous coordinator. so he tried to fit a few square pegs in round holes and the players clashed with him, so what? he was the coordinator, not the head coach, and often times it's beneficial for the coach to have a bad cop on the staff.
  22. let's just sign him and start him. what is there to lose? people would walk on the faces of sick orphans to get tickets.
