When was that? When he hit 27 homers last year. or 23 the year before that, or 24 before that one... i can't remember a player who didn't suffer a serious injury and still completely lost his ability to hit for power. yeah this is pretty surprising. i thought we would be able to pencil him for about 15 or 20. not 2. We can add a bunch of guys to that list...Lee, Floyd, etc. yeah, the cubs lost all their power at once. it needs to come back some time.
