  1. btw- jereme richmond just hit a half court shot to lift waukegan over brandon paul's warren township team tonight. paul was fouled on a three pointer with seconds to play and hit all three ft's to put warren up 1 and then richmond threw in the game winner. people are calling it instantly the greatest game in illinois high school basketball history. richmond had 31 and paul had 27. great pub for the illini.
  2. tisdale is easily the overall #1.
  3. That has got to free up some cap... not like they are going to use it. yeah, i'm pretty disappointed.
  4. i didn't know it was possible to look worse than archuleta. you've outdone yourself, jerry.
  5. Probably cause he shoots a bunch of fadeaways and is built like a bowling ball. i think he's built more like grape ape, though.
  6. please let barnes go to iowa state. i wouldn't even mind seeing him at iowa, just don't let him go to kansas.
  7. walker is a junior, but tucker and koshwal are sophs. depaul could be very good next year. i'd imagine that they're reticent to let wainwright go due to this fact. i listen to the wainwright show every now and then and people are always calling him and questioning him on his recruiting, but his recruiting doesn't seem to be an issue, he's got the horses. he also seems like a genuinely nice and down-to-earth guy, i hope they get better. let me add that if bruce weber were coaching that team, they'd be in the top half of the big east--with those guards alone. there's no excuse for tucker and walker to be averaging 3 assists between them.
  8. yeah, he is. really strange that a team with two pretty good players would have gone winless in a watered-down big east.
  9. Well at least we got a solid LB out of it. Wait... solid has nothing to with it. briggs is perhaps the best linebacker in the nfc.
  10. he played 14 games last year. he may have another year or 2 left in him.
  11. yeah, it's got to be a washington alum.
  12. i just saw that the rams released orlando pace.
  13. no, they better be rooting for butler.
  14. cleveland state giving butler all they can handle. could burst somebody's bubble tonight.
  15. that white guy is all over the boards.
  16. the kentucky talk can end now. we own their souls. however, i thought it was a little much on mr. richmond's part.
  17. I'm glad they kept him so they can at least avoid having to use a draft pick on the position. You really have to wonder what the motivation was for not using the guy much and running the crap out of Forte. Then again, they played Marty Booker over Earl Bennett all year and had no intention of keeping him either, and he wasn't doing a thing to help the team. I'm really disappointed that they could have had TO for very little and apparantly didn't even express interest. The WR position would have been solved for this season, giving them flexibility to draft guys at any spot. Since they are ignoring the position in free agency they have to get one early and hope he contributes early. I like Hester as a receiver, but thinking of him as a #1 is way past being just a stretch. He'd be a solid 2 with a real receiver taking double teams, but there's no way he's going to be the "must stop" guy that any defense worries about every play. oh, i'm glad they signed him, it's just that i was glad that they signed him last season only to never use him. he's really a nice backup to forte because he's a very similar player. he's fast, strong, and catches the ball well out of the backfield. using him late in games at least would have saved some mileage on forte. holt is waht we need.
  18. The 2nd was from hanging on the rim. I'm not worried. apparently the first call was questionable. richmond and another kid went on the floor with richmond getting jumped on. he pushed the kid off him because the guy didn't want to get up. the other guy went right to the ref and started to complain, the ref blew the whistle a few seconds after the whole thing had transpired. most everyone in the crowd thought the technical was on the other guy because he was yelling at the ref.
  19. and jamil wilson to oregon, which makes no sense. i'm glad he's not playing in the big ten, but oregon? come on, that's where burger boys go to die.
  20. somebody woke up tommy lasorda just in time for him to give some unintelligible rant about americans and baseball and then go back to sleep.
  21. strange signing since they barely used jones as the season progressed.
  22. No he likes those guys that's what i meant.
  23. and guys that take banned supplements.
  24. i want to smash my tv.
  25. i told you we'd lose, didn't i? we cannot beat psu in any sport. i could see that loss coming from a mile away, maybe this will get us pumped up, who knows?
