  1. i'd give them a 1st rounder and orton. maybe another 1st rounder. I agree and I believe that if Angelo were willing to do that the Broncos should accept. Among the teams that need a QB none have one as good as Orton that they could send back. The Broncos play in a weak division and could make the playoffs with Orton at QB. They could still draft Sanchez and having Orton around would allow them time to not throw him to the wolves. I doubt that they would want Urlacher as part of any package as they would probably rather use the picks from the Bears to take the best defensive player available. yeah, the urlacher inclusion doesn't make a lot of sense for either team.
  2. the only upset anyone has in the first round is a team that lost by 30 to murray state beating illinois. I really don't see it happening with WKU's tallest player being 6'9. Mike and Mike should have huge games. well, i'd say that 90% of everyone who has done a bracket has westen kentucky winning, regardless of the fact that they lost to florida international. i don't care a whole lot, but it's annoying seeing everyone who has wku beaming about it like they're some sort of genius because they saw jay bilas pick them. i hope the team reacts to it and runs up the score. chester is a major loss on the defensive end, though.

  5. They also beat Louisville by 14. and the week before, they lost to murray state by 30. this is a game that illinois should win by a comfortable margin, but stranger things have happened and i'm not too impressed with the illini this year, so whatever. They also went to the Sweet 16 last season. It isn't like you are playing one of the play-in game teams. I'd still take Illinois to win but I think expecting a blowout in a game like this is setting yourself up for disappointment as crazy as the first two days of the tournament can get. Just be happy for whatever kind of win you get. :hello: they aren't the same team at all, though. and believe me, i'm not ever setting myself up for disappointment when it comes to any of my sports teams.

  7. western kentucky lost to the university of denver 74-48. we better not lose.
  8. derwood is going to be glued to espnu tonight.
  9. i wouldn't worry about it. i haven't seen much of ndsu, but i think every one of their players resembles ollie from hoosiers. did you see how that movie ended? i stopped watching when he played with 4 players, i thought he was fired for sure. how did it end?

  11. they have better players, no doubt. but i think weber is better than howland. I'm not on board with that at all. and you can have your opinion. both are better than brey, though. Thanks for the cheap shot, like our absence from the dance doesn't speak enough to that. it wasn't a cheapshot, it was an observation. much like the observation that a certain irish player bears a striking resemblance to the grape ape.
  12. They are awesome. Only reason. :) michigan has some primetime talent.

  15. NOW QUIT YER BITCHIN.
  16. and UNI has purdue in the first. butler a 9? unbelievable. ILLINOIS WITH A 5 AND A REMATCH WITH WKU.
  17. butler is def not out.
  18. either the big ten is going to dominate this region or there are going to be some sad folks.
  19. penn state looks somber.
  20. actually, i think they're still a six.
  21. what the hell was that?
  22. that was after calipari said that his kids told him that they didn't care what seed they got. oooh, marquette gets a brutal first round draw.
  23. that just makes me mad. I figured PSU would be ahead of Arizona, but they seem determined NOT to have 8 Big Ten teams all they had to do was beat iowa. that's it. it's their own fault if they don't make it. oh, I know, but the point is that if there isn't room for PSU, there REALLY isn't room for Arizona. This probably means Creighton and/or St. Mary's is also out (or Michigan) arizona IS pretty weak.
  24. that just makes me mad. I figured PSU would be ahead of Arizona, but they seem determined NOT to have 8 Big Ten teams Honestly, with Arizona in and Utah a 5 seed, there may not be 7 Big Ten teams in. i was looking at the interview they were doing with beilein and thinking: "not so fast."
