jeez, how many extar chances t=did minnesota get because we can't rebound at all? seriously? i want to throw something through my front window because we never get the ball off the shot, never. we maybe got 2 rebounds in the first half. that's why we get an assist on every basket, because we get no second chance opportunities.

we can't afford to have tisdale out there. i'd like to know a +/- on team rebounds when he's on and off the court.

not sad for him, sad for those of us who had high hopes for him. I had no hopes for him when he was drafted, then slowly turned to being a fan and wound up as one of the people who most defended him in 2006/07. But I guess it was the lack of initial expectations that made it easier for me to let it go. i thought he had the best arm of anyone in that draft. i guess somewhere my hopes got unrealistic, but that happens when you haven't seen a real qb play in your town ever.

what a sad story. it's particularly sad because people like me envisioned grossman being the savior of the franchise and stuck to him even when the detractors were at their worst. the game never slowed down for him, he would be well-served to learn how to move when the pocket collapses or where to step to avoid the pass rush. he's always had the arm. i wish him good luck.

vontae ran 2 mid 4.3's and did 25 bench reps. pretty impressive for a cornerback, but this probably means he's not falling out of the top 10, now. not that we'd want him anyway.

Yeah, Illinois would be dynamic this year if they had Turner. Guy's a stud. I like to look to the future and think players like Turner will no longer escape Weber. Yes, I know, many of us Illini fans continue to talk about the future but, recruits aside, in McCamey, Tisdale, Davis and even Legion - go ahead and dismiss him now - the Illini are going to be damn good. i think jereme richmond will be an evan turner-like, do-it-all player for us.
