Chet won't be gone. Apparently he has an offer to be a graduate asssistant. He needs to go elsewhere if he wants to be a coach. i won't mind him as a coach. tie game when we've outplayed them this half by a wide margin.

He misses more wide open threes than anyone who is a shooter. yea, when Diebler had that wide open 3 on the fast break, he made it... oh wait, no he didn't. but meacham misses way more. he can't shoot, he can't play. that was a quick 5 seconds.

Why would they choose Anderson over Izzo? that's the debate, i guess. tubby smith is in there as well. they have their pick.

Kansas is going to win the conference again. Congrats Big 12. Maybe if KU lost every player and had to play IU style, one of you could step up and win that thing outright. Self has to be coach of the year. if kansas wins the big 12 i'd have no problem with self winning COTY nationally, but if anyone besides anderson wins big 12 COTY i'll lose my [expletive]. That doesn't make any damn sense. Yeah, that confuses me. I think Self should win it, but I wouldn't have a problem with Anderson. He's done a hell of a job this year. I have a feeling he'll get it, too. People will write off Self's success because it's Kansas. And for the record, IG, I wouldn't be too confident about KU winning the Big 12. @OU, vs MU, vs UT still on the slate. Should handle UT and MU, but both are loseable. @OU will still be an upset, IMO, even if griffin doesn't play. Eh, I am buying into Self as a coach more and more. Does that kill you inside? No, it hurts a little, but Weber has started to turn it around in regards to recruiting. Self is a good one. besides, self was much too good to get stuck at a backwoods college like illinois.

haha, vontae davis "looks like tarzan, plays like jane." did they watch him play at all in college? guy was a stud, but was only a 3-star out of high school. he worked his way to where he is, he was given nothing. the best defensive player at illinois since simeon rice.

fixed re-fixed I know a lot of this is probably tongue in cheek, but the irrational Aaron Miles hatred that has been building around here lately is silly. Yes, he is just a reserve type middle infielder without a lot of power. But he shouldn't be in baseball? They guy hit .317 last year with a .355 OBP in 379 AB's. If a guy that can do that doesn't even belong in baseball there should be a lot of 22 man rosters. He sure belongs to be in a baseball at least as much or more than Ronny Cedeno who was the Cubs' utility infielder last season and I assume will be on the Mariners roster this year. I'm going to go out on a limb and say all of us are mad that DeRosa was traded. We don't want Miles at 2nd, we want DeRosa. but fontenot will get the majority of the time there, so that makes me happy because i'm excited to see what he can do full-time. and bradley should bat third because he'll get more pa's there and the more pa's he gets, the better.

Yeah, if Crede is reasonably healthy, he could really come back to haunt the WS. how? he's not very good. this signing should kick off what he was truly meant to be, a league journeyman.

If they took Vontae Davis over Maclin I think I'd lose my [expletive] mind. Would it be more or less painful than seeing Illinois in the Rose Bowl? Probably more. And I'd only be mad because we don't need a CB in the first round, not because Davis isn't good. Not sure Maclin will be there. Is he a good kid? I don't want another drama queen like David Terrell. while david terrell might have had his personal issues, his ultimate failing was the he wasn't any good at football.

i was thinking of kerr, then. i remember jordan feeding pax time after time in game 5 of the 91 finals, though. maybe that's what i was remembering. Jordan fed Kerr for the game winner in 1997. i didn't mean to say that kerr played for the bulls in 93. Oh, gotcha. Anyways, nice link to reminisce. :) Plus, apparently Steve Kerr is funny. definitely, the other vid are nice to watch, too. i almost forgot just how amazing those teams were. they were art. -
