1 rebound! the guy is 7-1 and he has 1 rebound. he is skilled, but he needs to grab the ball off the iron, too. It's not his fault that Mike Davis grabbed every board. Tisdale hasn't really played much in the post today, so he hasn't had the same opps. davis hasn't grabbed every board. purdue has 10 offensive boards. but davis has been a beast on the boards today.

another ball bounces directly to a purdue player. ridiculous, you'd think we'd get some kind of luck on loose balls.

seriously, we need to convert on some fast breaks. that's like 5 fast breaks that we've blown the layups on, kramer kicking frazier on that one or not. every other team in the country converts fast break opportunities, every single other team, but the illini, no.

i really can't wait until we get some good players on this team. we suck.

great free throw shooting there, team leader. ridiculous, and now purdue is within 6.

no sympathy. that's what we've shot 2 out of the last 3 games and got blown out because of it. purdue is still within striking range because illinois can't rebound.

purdue must feel pretty good that even if they miss a shot, they'll still get the ball back, even if there are 4 illini standing under the basket. to get beaten by the illini, you really have to miss a lot of shots, a lot of shots, easy shots.

we can't rebound at all.

we're both hustling on defense. the difference is that purdue keeps getting bounces. that mccamey play in the backcourt is a great example.

this loose ball thing is getting ridiculous. i assume at some time the balls will start bouncing directly to players on our team for easy dunks as well.

can't get a loose ball. very unlucky.

kraig appleton never had an offer from illinois, i guess that explains why he couldn't send his letter in on signing day.
