  1. Agreed on both. I think Few's heading to Arizona after this season, and if he doesn't, I'd be surprised if he ever leaves. You've got the wrong Pac-10 school for Few. Think Nike. that would be optimal. get worldwide wes's influence out of oregon. one less school to worry about poaching chicago talent.
  2. Tubby did mention recently he was interested in talking to Alabama, but that was about as far as I could ever see it going. link? that doesn't make sense to me, either. but i'm just curious, what kind of established "name" coaches do you think alabama has a shot with?
  3. Agreed on both. I think Few's heading to Arizona after this season, and if he doesn't, I'd be surprised if he ever leaves. now that would make sense, as arizona has an actual basketball tradition and still a little prestige left.
  4. tubby smith at alabama will never happen. i don't think tubby is ever coming back to the sec, he's happy and safe right where he is. quite frankly, i can't see him ever coaching south of mason-dixon again unless he's desperate. he's not leaving a great job in minny for a program like alabama, it doesn't make sense at all. as for mark few, dream on.
  5. He still put up some decent offensive numbers, even without the O-line being strong. He throws a lot of picks, but throws for a lot of yards too. he never had much of a running game, either, did he?
  6. i'd take a flyer on david carr. it seems to me like he never got a chance to play behind a line that could protect him, not that ours could, necessarily.
  7. marshall is not any good and vitters may not be.
  8. what channel? the ever-exciting sport of freestayle wrestling is on btn.
  9. i seriously have to go, i'll catch you tomorree.
  10. do small-town Wisconsinites really live in palacial mansions? (rhetorical) just because my bed is not in the corner of some barn doesn't mean i live in a mansion.
  11. Rose was expected to be more of a project than Westbrook anyways. And the PER stat sucks. but, the point is not to argue derrick rose vs. russell westbrook (that's pointless, and exactly what he wants you to do), it's to call attention to how an nba franchise in oklahoma city is a joke on the world. by the transitive property of the NBA, the bulls are now a joke-joke at least they didnt draft foolishly draft "career-sixth man" beasley the bulls still play in chicago and people pay attention to them because they do. i guess that would come in handy if they were any good at least they'll still be in chicago in five years. will they still be filling less of their gym than we are? likely, with such a crappy roster .....just like the novelty of being a freelance journalist will wear off. oh shi..... now it gets interesting... this will be fun for the next half hour to watch... i dont think you got the reference, that's ok sulley, i havent kept my finger on the pulse of bulls' faithful. have there been many articles in the wisconsin weekly about how excited bulls' fans are about the slew of free agents they'll miss out on this summer? no, they're much more concerned about their own team in milwaukee, which is somehow much more likely to keep them than okc is to keep the thunder.
  12. actually, i just downed some nyquil and i'm headed off to bed, which is not, unlike someone else's, made of hay.

  18. but sadly, no one will ever notice because no one knows who westbrook is anymore except for raisin and you. break it dowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwn.
  19. it's amazing how fast a player like westbrook drops off the radar after going to oklahoma city. i had forgotten that he existed at all and he's doing very well, i see. it's like notoriety just pulled a sam beckett and quantum leaped right out of his body.
  20. They weren't bad college basketball players, they just weren't a good fit for a motion offense. I'll always be a fan of Brian Randle cause he was a genuinely nice guy every time I talked to him, and took way too much flack for his play. Beyond Brian and Shaun not fitting in the motion, Frazier spent most of the year hurt, DMac, Davis, and Tis were developing as freshmen, and we were a tremendously unlucky team. I always said last year's team was not nearly as their record showed, but even my most optimistic estimate had us as an 11 seed in the tourney. This has been pretty amazing. Yeah this has really made me rethink my opinion of Weber. I definately am glad he's our coach as I think our team, while very improved, has no buisness being 17-3. randle was a heckuva defender though. except for those 2 dumb fouls he would get 40 ft from the basket every game. big props to weber this year. just think if we had a legitimate post player? Just think if EJ would have just decommitted right away and we could have got one of Manny Harris or E'Twaun Moore who were both rumored to be leaning our way. :banghead: imagine if derrick rose commits to us while ej was solid and we win the national championship last year.
  21. illinois ran a clinic on how not to inbound the ball every single time that they tried with under a minute to go. what a joke. nice job you a-holes. good win, though.
  22. about as close as you can get, but no basket.
  23. am i high or are they running highlights as the illini game is starting?
  24. and a timeout. this is the longest blowout in sports history.
