you say this so much.....ever think that maybe Illinois is REALLY BAD at getting position for rebounds? I don't think it's bad luck game after game after game oh, illinois is terrible at getting rebounds, they're very very bad. that still doesn't excuse the fact that they also are terribly unlucky.

oh, are they in the tournament? i seem to recall someone predicting that they would be. Good call...but it definitely didn't work out as you would have expected. There were some moments where it looked like they were done. But, yes you were right and deserve props. sweet, i'm awesome. haha.

i like it. the more i think about it, the more i get po'd by the fact that a team can dominate their regular season and then have a bad game and be out of the dance. totally unfair, but you don't want to lessen the excitement of the conference tourney games. however, there needs to be some sort of exemption for ranked, major conference teams. The conference champion would not have to play the at-large game, so there is still an incentive to win the conference tournament. For lower-level conference teams, it is a HUGE incentive. no, i agree with you that it's more fair for mid-major conference teams, but it's absolutely unfair for ranked, major conference teams that shouldn't have to win a play-in game to get into the tourney.

My biggest gripe with those Big Ten Classics is that it's not in HD. no kidding. 90-84 with 1:35 to go, we might pull this one out. ooh, hassan gets a bucket and a freebie.

Michigan has a chance to be a Cinderella team. I don't know about all the way to the Elite 8 though. michigan is a good pick to surprise, they have the horses and if they get hot, they could make some noise. i don't think they have much of a chance against oklahoma, though.

i think gonzaga is a good matchup. i don't see either team as being a clear-cut favorite.
