  1. i still don't understand how the chargers have enough money to tag him a 2nd time
  2. missouri is by no means a second-tier school
  3. that first round pick is huge, and i don't think they'll do it. the question is, are adams and jackson more valuable than wallace by himself? jackson has proven himself to be a sure thing and i'd imagine has about 3 really productive years at least left in him. wallace may be a great player, but i just don't agree with giving up a first rounder for him in addition to the money.
  4. Ugh. I might not mind, but losing to Iowa is one indignity I do not suffer well. just try to relax and pretend you're at disneyworld.
  5. but yeah, i don't know much about him. impressive dunk, though. wow
  6. the jewish jordan
  7. that's a huge price to pay for wallace, no thanks. let's diversify. like i said, a draft consisting of adams, cam johnson, zeitler, spence, prater, and aj jenkins, coupled with a big free agent signing like vincent jackson will absolutely solidify the team on both sides of the ball in one offseason
  8. the bucks are mostly women, children, and african bushmen.
  9. nova hasn't been seen in a while
  10. the point is that he was still a recent first round pick and has some value, more value than john lucas, who is a known commodity. the entire bulls' bench is built on non-lottery players, and that is one of the best units in the league. an inclusion in any trade would be on pure potential.
  11. the good news is we have a QB that will get us through the next several years and keep us competitive while we restocking the d
  12. this team is so weird
  13. recent developments have really humbled them. they still lock threads for no reason, though.
  14. bruce honestly believes that the best way to win out and save his job is to play sam [expletive] maniscalco every second of every game.
  15. good, so hopefully they'll stay away from Shaka!
  16. raisin, what's the deal in LA, is howland going to be fired? i ask only because i think stevens would be a good fit--and being from indiana, may be viewed as the second coming of wooden out there.
  17. i thought the same thing. i would imagine he will start the year there.
  18. i don't know why he's projected as a 5th or 6th rounder. i have to believe that when he runs a 4.4 at the combine that he'll stock will rise significantly. i'm also very intrigued by this sean spence from miami. he's small, which will cause teams to shy away from him, but he's so fast and great in coverage. right up lovie's alley.
  19. 1. mike adams-lt 2. cam johnson-de 3. kevin zeitler-g 3. sean spence-olb 4. shaun prater- cb 5. aj jenkins- wr i think that would be an amzing draft, personally. it really boggles my mind that jenkins will probably fall into the 5th round, but he'd be an absolute steal there.
  20. meh, i'd rather keep the pick, take mike adams and add someone like jackson via free agency. we can then take cam johnson in the 2nd and then aj jenkins in the 4th or 5th. you've bookended your offensive line, grabbed a #1 receiver and a #3 receiver that can play in the slot or split out, jenkins is great at those drag routes. bennett's fine as the #2. but really, you haven't broken the bank in FA and you've addressed 3 distinct needs as you've gotten a DE to put across from peppers immediately.
  21. gus is a big bowel movement
  22. i'm not going to pile on bruce, i think xzero made some good points. but ultimately, what it comes down to, and bruce even admitted it himself, is that in a freelancing offense, he never encouraged them enough to freelance. he never developed their ability to think for themselves, he scripted everything and scripting is not his forte at all. the motion offense is something you have to teach, you cannot simply tell them how to run it, you have to nurture certain abilities, and it looks like this wasn't done at all. that is bruce's failing. he gave this team life, but he never taught them how to live.
  23. see, i disagree here. meyers had plenty of opportunities, bruce didn't "break" anyone. meyers played lazy all year and never saw the consequences in terms of playing time. bruce may have failed him, but he didn't break him.
  24. this is exactly what people talk about when they say that the players have given up.
  25. It's strange. Bruce had an epiphany the other night. Not sure how this is happening, adios clownshoes. They have all just completely and totally quit on him. You reap what you sow. I guess you can only throw your players under the bus so many times before they tell you to eff off. I just hope they all stick around and the next coach figures out how to utilize all the talent on the roster. yeah, 36-4 runs don't happen against nebraska. they also haven't missed a shot this half, though.
