then he got picked up by KC and was cut after faulting on his first snap, went to SD and was a monster. would love that guy, still young enough to be with us for a while.
I don't follow the logic here, what gets you from Shaka to Parker. If anything I think Theus (puke) would have the best shot. name recognition, youth, style of play, charisma.
not if you have holes to fill at other positions and WR depth is good this year. as i've said a million times before, i have eyes for jenkins in the 3rd-4th. grabbing him and signing jackson would give us a very good 1-3, and allow hester to go back to being a novelty.
Maybe it's a last ditch effort to get funds for Mario Williams (or Chris Myers). i meant their center (who is probably the best in the game) rather than their OG.
You're living in fantasy land. I'd be ecstatic to get 1 of 3. get one and the others may follow. fill those kids in around the solid base that you have from 2011, the possibilities are endless.
i'm not sure how they fill any holes in a meaningful way if they don't get a top free agent. certainly, there are no better options at receiver than jackson. they can sign him and still have enough to round out their roster--the draft is coming up. i don't get their point.
Maybe he thought there was no chance. I just really hope I don't have to hear the bitching about Weber another 4 years after he's gone. we already have the top point guard and the top 2 guard in-state committed.
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised to see him get close to what Sidney Rice got. Rice got 5 years/$41Mil. I'd guess 5 years and anywhere from 32-38Mil. Once Jackson signs and Colston looks like he's going to RE-sign in NOLA.....Manningham becomes the top guy on the board at WR probably based on his experience. which is why it's important to come back with jackson.
