  1. It was just strange. Josh Allen was even less accurate than Lamar in college and Pollian compared him to a young Jim Kelly/Peyton Manning. This was after his rookie year when he had a 52% completion percentage and 10-12 TD to INT ratio I mean Lamar is obviously a good QB but he's still extremely inaccurate and I think everyone would take Allen over Lamar at this point.
  2. I'm glad there's hype on Daboll and not Leslie Frazier
  3. Nagy needs to go the college route IMO. I think he'd be a good college coach.
  4. I think this is my favorite candidate so far. I'm iffy on Rick Smith and really don't want Ireland. I'm cool with taking a risk on someone from a successful organization like the Browns (that's weird to say)
  5. I'm not all-in on Flores but I'm really scared this ends up with Leslie Frazier. I want an offensive guy.
  6. He was trashing Olin Kreutz the day before McCaskey did
  7. i'd say this is why Doug Pederson is my #1. An offensive guy that's won with Nick Foles and has had a ton of success. He's very connected in the game and can bring in good OC's. The question is, how much of the Eagles success was due to Frank Reich?
  8. Smith is a bit of the opposite of Pace where he nailed his first round picks and then struggled to find talent in the later rounds. Got a bit of a raw deal in Houston at the end but built good rosters. I wouldn't be overly excited about hiring him but wouldn't be upset either.
  9. Dolphins fans have been delusional about Tua like Bears fans were with Mitch. Flores is a defensive guy anyways.
  10. Wonder if the Bears got internal criticism with their QB decisions in the past which is leading them to go after a diversity candidate. Diversity is great but not if it leads to a Leslie Frazier and just like the Bulls search, it's an insult to act like you're only hiring someone because of their skin color. In the case of the Bulls, they got criticism for the AK hire and then went out and got Marc Eversley, who was the best candidate regardless of skin color. There are a few good candidates out there that aren't white and they're not Leslie Frazier.
  11. Ready for the Bears to hire their next GM/head coach in 3 years
  12. There's a reason the Leslie Frazier stuff has leaked already. The Bears want a minority coach or GM and Leslie Frazier is a former player. They're gonna keep Pace, maybe as GM and hire Leslie Frazier. And they'll continue to be bad.
  13. DaBearsBlog has no sources. He guesses based on what the public wants. Pace will be back and promoted and Leslie Frazier will be the new head coach.
  14. Firing Nagy and keeping Pace does nothing. Leslie Frazier is gonna come in and have the same success or worse than Nagy.
  15. They're not gonna fire him on a short week, Pace should be fired though
  16. People just want to run the same team back year after year when they failed together for 3 years. As long as the Cubs are spending money on this group the next few years, we'll all find new favorite Cubs to enjoy.
  17. Think this will be a good loss going forward. Things would have been sketchy if they won and beat the Lions. Could have backed into that 8-9 playoff spot.
  18. Lol that’s exactly what I said. Furthest thing from my mind was a FG attempt. Does he think he is in Denver and his kicker is Matt Prater? Not that we needed any more evidence of Nagy ineptitude at coaching however, we've got this and as mentioned earlier punting the ball down ten late in the 4th. He always makes the wrong decision, always. I was honestly fine with the punt. Steelers offense didn't do anything from the 1st quarter on, Bears likely would have gotten the ball right back.
  19. If losing is one step closer to getting rid of Nagy and Pace, then today is a win
  20. Bears gave up a 6th round pick in a lost season for a bad kick returner in a league where kick returners do not matter
  21. Mac Jones has been a lot better than Fields this year. Fields has 3 TD's, 7 INT's and a QB rating that's worse than everyone but Zach Wilson. Doesn't mean Fields can't be better going forward but Mac has looked pretty legit.
