  1. so i should be expecting to see your album on the shelves any time soon, right? Three this year. Uh, seriously? Yep. Well what are they and when are they coming out? What are they? Not sure that knowing the names now will help you at all, but the first one is by group, Juggernaut Glitch, and is self-titled. we're hoping to have it out in July. Second come my solo joints, Equilibrium and Experimentality, which I plan to drop together in October. Equilibrium is a fairly straightforward hiphop album, while Experimentality is, well, not (hence the name). Of course, being independent means things don't always go as smoothly as hoped, but that's the current schedule, anyway.
  2. Dude, I don't know if the players are just used to taking pictures or what, but I swear I had to keep looking at Addison to make sure those double pictures weren't the exact same picture.

  4. Patterson walks and steals a base, then Pie walks right after him. Walk boys, walk.

  6. And clearly you don't understand the sample size arguments at all.
  7. I don't understand the degree of love for Nas. At all. I mean, dude is nice, but people talk about him like there's something spectacular in his style, and I never hear it when I hear Nas. Also, the dude secretes pseudointelligence. As for Wayne, I liked him best during the Cash Money days when I couldn't escape them on the radio. He's grown into a formidable artist, but I have a hard time letting go his tendency to follow a strong line with some stupid crap. Nice, but clearly NOT the best rapper alive. If I were to name off dudes from the top of my head that would school him, I'd run out of fingers and toes. TI, for me, is one of those "not my type but I gotta respect his work" type of dudes. He's actually pretty well rounded. Can't really say much since I'm not particularly a fan and rarely listen to radio, but most of what I've heard has been solid and appreciable. How in the hell did Lupe get on this list? Not saying he's bad (far from it), but he's nowhere near the others in terms of sales or prolificness. He has one notable album and a couple of hit songs. What is the criteria for this "best in the game" critique, anyway? Most skillful? Best body of work? Most successful? I can't think of any in which Lupe deserves mention as a potential top five at all. I guess out of the above listed, I have to go Jay-Z by default, even if dude's last album came straight from his rectum onto cd platters. Again, it's hard to get all excited about rappers when I know/am rappers better than them.
  8. Iowa picked up 1 in the 6th and 4 in the 7th. They lead 5-1. Patterson is 1-3 with a double, a walk, and 2 RBI. Pie is 2-4 with a ribbie, a SB, and a K. Marshall has gone 7, giving up 2 hits and 2 walks with 1 K and 1 run.
  9. Corrected for emphasis. (combining pet peeves as well)
  10. Yo. Warp.. you interested in an updated sig? Pretty similar to your current one, just a little cleaner, little fresher. Lemme know. You volunteering? Sure.
  11. I would destroy that dude.
  12. Will you have my babies?
  13. Holliman :( Pie :D 11/22 with a double, 2 triples, a homer, 1 SB, 7 R and 6 RBI since returning to Iowa.
  14. Haven't most of the extra inning games been night games?
  15. I wouldn't necessarily consider your discussions in this thread to be rational. Give me a break...Murton simply is not as good as most around here thinks he is. Especially the dude that has started a church named Murton. I wish he were. We'd probably be undefeated. But hey, people posting on an internet board are much more knowledgable then people actually running the teams. LOL The lunacy of it all. Murton is far from great, but he's better than Floyd and that's the point. For the 999th time. I never said he wasn't. Well, then you're talking to yourself.
  16. Dusty won't be doing it. In another thread (I believe in Baseball Discussions) he said that he wouldn't be doing any Cubs games this year. Dusty posts here?
  17. I just hope Piniella gets over his veterosexuality before too long and gives Murton the majority of the playing time.
  18. Opportunity cost. Look at Soriano's contract, then ask what else we could have gotten for that money. LF is also the easiest position to fill and has arguably the highest offensive expectations. Soriano's numbers are fine but certainly unspectacular for his position. He needs to do better before I'd say his contributions outweigh the opportunity cost incurred by paying his gigantic salary plus blocking the easiest position to fill for 8 years. Which...has nothing to do with this thread.
  19. Patterson walked yet again in the 8th. Final line (most likely): 2/4, 2 BB, HR, 3 R, 2 RBI, 0 K. Pie ends up 3/6 with a triple, 2 runs, 3 RBI, and 1 K.
  20. and gameday just went screwy, as it has Pie at bat again. Oh, now Hoffpauir is shown grounding out. Men at first and third, 2 outs. And now Hill singles Pie in. First and second, 2 outs. I wish I was at this game.
  21. Fontenot singles Patterson in, Pie to 2nd. Still just 1 out.
  22. Patterson walked to load the bases, and Pie reached on error. Two runs scored. 15-6 is the current score.
