  1. Wooo! Only one game behind the division leaders too! TGJr is looking great. Raiders should obviously be a win, but we better not look ahead to the Patriots and get upset. Dolphins aren't consistent enough to take anything for granted.
  2. Today's been a fun day. The Knicks continue to show how bad Isaiah was (and on the other side of that game, Boozer had 19 and 17, and Ronnie Brewer put up 7 assists and 7 steals). OJ Mayo scored 20 in the first quarter against Denver, while Billups had 11 and 4. Bizarrely, Gasol didn't take a shot in the whole first half. Darko played 6 minutes and got 3 fouls. Nene has 8 and 8 and could be poised for a career year, though I bet they wish they still had Camby defensively. The Grizzlies have one of the best young cores in basketball. The Raptors knocked off the Bobcats in another ridiculous game for Chris Bosh. 30 points, 15 boards, 3 assists and 2 blocks in the game with pretty much no help from O'Neal, who went 0 for 5 from the floor. Calderon with 13 and 7 and 0 turnovers. He might be the best passer in the league. Augustin had 14 and 4 off the bench for the Bobcats. And the big event is tonight. Lakers v. Rockets, just starting now. Don't think it's on national TV, but NBA.com has a free trial of League Pass going on through the 11th, so you can catch it online. Both teams are looking to make a statement in this game.
  3. Well, the Dolphins held on, and are now over .500 for the first time since December of 2005. Damn, that hurts to say. Next week, bring on the Raiders!
  4. I think its sweet that they didnt do it week 1. But week 2 when they faced NE they broke it out. Week 3, actually. I'd feel a bit more confident saying this if the Dolphins weren't struggling to put away the Seahawks (even if the Seahawks offense is only responsible for 3 of their 10 points), but in the beginning of the season, I said the Dolphins were capable of winning 9 games, but would more likely win 6 or 7. Right now, the odds are very good that they'll win 9. 4-4 right now, 5 or their last 8 games are against teams with 2 or few victories. (KC, Oakland, Seattle, San Fran, St. Louis.) They play New England at home, the Jets on the road, and Buffalo in Toronto. Right now, the Dolphins have got to do better on special teams.
  5. Is it wrong that this kind of makes me happy?
  6. Is Mallett going to start next season? Almost certainly. They applied to get him eligible this year. Pretty sure they wouldn't do that if he was going hold a clipboard. As I've said many times, as our plethora of freshman/softmore recievers take turns having good games...can you imagine this offense with a good passing quarterback? I wonder how good Michigan would have been this year with Mallet playing. Yeah, they wouldn't have been great, but they at least would have beaten Purdue. While we're playing the what-if game, Mallett never would have been at Michigan in the first place had Arkansas not had Mustain at the time he came was being recruited.

  8. Huh, Casey Dick didn't even finish the game. Nathan Dick lead the final drive for a touchdown.
  9. I have no idea who that is, but he's my favorite football player.
  10. Casey Dick is 16 for 26 with 217 yards and 2 touchdowns!!!!! and 3 picks, which are the primary reason the Hogs are down 27-14 in the fourth.
  11. I'm on a roll like a Rhodes scholar.
  12. Miami has their second chance to move above .500 this season, and the 2-6 Seahawks are as good an opponent to try that agains as any. Of course, last time it was the 0-4 Texans...Seattle's worse, though.
  13. I gotta take this moment to give some props to Andre Goodman. He's been incredible today. That'll do it. Huge win for the Dolphins to get back to .500. Still in last place in the division. Hopefully the Colts take care of business and make it a one game deficit.
  14. That's what I'm talking about. Beautiful drive.
  15. 19-17 Miami in Denver. 11 minutes to go. Let's score a freaking touchdown.
  16. Field goal time. 16-7 Miami.
  17. You gotta be effing kidding me. I hope this gets overturned, though I have no evidence either way. :/ And it was! Gotta score here.
  18. Apparently Ronnie Brown is the new Dolphins quarterback.
  19. Pennington's hit on four straight this posession. The Dolphins's inability to run the ball is perplexing.
  20. Hey, Joey Porter got a sack. That never happens. Cutler was much better that drive, but he's still only 5-13. And pennington reaches 50%! Not bad for the guy ranked 2nd in the leauge in completion percentage coming in!
  21. Am I missing something? How come nobody can complete a pass today in Denver?
  22. Wow, how did I end up in here? Weird. That explains why it was so quiet, though.
  23. Naturally, Denver returns the ensuing kickoff to the Miami 5. And Cutler gets the 2 yard TD pass. Rest easy, Cutler fantasy owners.
  24. PICK SIX!! TOUCHDOWN DOLPHINS! 13-0! Cutler is 1/6 for 5 yards and 2 picks.
  25. Dolphins are up 6-0 on the Broncos. Offensively, they're playing to their profile: lots of yards, not many points. (9th in YPG, 22nd in PPG)
