  1. Yeah, really. Who doesn't like watching Beyonce bounce? Such things are assumed and unnecessary to state.
  2. Ole Miss is actually a pretty dang good team now that they have someone on the sidelines who can coach. Orgeron was bringing in awesome talent but made Dusty Baker look like a Hall of Famer. Now that Houston Nutt is there, the awesome talent is developing and producing. Definitely hard to believe. They havent been worth a ish since Eli's last year in 2003. But they are certainly no joke this year. They beat Florida at Florida and nearly beat Bama at Bama. Houston Nutt is an outstanding coach. And Nutt was fired by Arkansas just last season . . . #-o I thought he resigned. He had an affair with some reporter up there, and wanted to get away. No, that was just a suspicion. A number of things led to Nutt's exit: "chasing off" top recruits, apparent personality conflicts with said players, boring offense, bowl game failure, and then the assorted other stuff that cropped up in the aftermath.
  3. What's dumb about giving up an improving player at a position of high demand, along with other pieces, for a 10 year older declining player who costs 2.5 times more in salary? I don't understand.
  4. They're going to have to get production somewhere else, because he's probably going to crash hard playing 38 minutes a game for 82 games.
  5. I have no idea where you pulled this from, considering Kwame barely even played last year, and Bynum was averaging 15 and 11 as a starter--17 and 12 in January before getting hurt. At age 21. Those are better numbers than 80% of the league is getting from their centers. His shot blocking ability was sorely missed in the Finals last year, that's for sure.
  6. Wow, Lakers bench has been awful tonight. Debating tuning in to the 4th quarter so i can catch some Rose.
  7. Is Little Dick taking over for Big Dick? That's the rumor. They're splitting reps 50/50.
  8. I don't know if I'd call Washington #1, but Washington State is definitely #2. In other crude news, there are hintings at a Dick exchange this weekend.
  9. Serge would be a good fit for the Bulls, and Hinrich would fit better with the Blazers than with the Bulls. That trade rumor has a lot of potential on both sides.
  10. I was impressed by the degree of your apparent delusion, but you had to go and screw that up.
  11. I'm just saying that 2.8 TO/g is not the reason he sucks.
  12. 2.8 turnovers per game isn't ungodly, but point stands.
  13. Arkansas should smash Mississippi State, but they'll probably play them close and/or lose. If they do win in a blowout, though...I wonder if LSU has fallen off enough that the Hogs could in the boot two years straight? Not likely, but it would be awesome. No, but then, most of us are fine with keeping the balls on the field
  14. what did he have in April, a 14 APG average? i can't figure out why he's still behind Ridnour on the depth chart Nobody can.
  15. What the helLSU
  16. Yeah, FSU or USF would be a perfect fit in the SEC West.
  17. Mayo is clearly at a high level, but I don't see him as above Rose. He'll probably outscore Rose, but not enough to offset everything else Rose does on the basketball court if he simply levels off where he is now. Both will be big time stars in this league. This is looking like an awesome draft year early on. So many youngsters contributing already. Look at Memphis. They're playing competitively, and their starting lineup has nobody with over 1 year of experience coming into this season. I can't believe Eric Gordon isn't doing anything. I can...I expected him to take a little while to be ready to make much of a contribution. I figured Kelvin Sampson would have had him ready to contribute from day one. Seriously though, the Clippers are stupid. I have no doubt he is better than Cuttino Mobely right now. It's the old veteran standby. The Clips think they can compete and aren't going to play a 20 year old excessively to start out. I bet Gordon will be playing a ton by the 30 game mark. Augustin is producing more and faster than I expected. He could easily be starting by midseason if he gets his shooting percentage up. Both Lopezes are effective in limited roles already. Kevin Love has been quite productive so far. I see a lot of Al Horford in Darrell Arthur. Chalmers is showing early signs of being a fine player. Beasley is doing well. Taking wagers on how long until Mike Conley Jr. gets benched. He might be the worst player in basketball so far this season. Also, why hasn't Javaris Crittenton played a single minute this year? I cannot believe how well DA has played. I thought that Rush and Chalmers were the only two real pros from that KU team that would really be impact players. DA has looked great though. Augustin is doing well and I wonder if they will try to move Felton? I thought Love would be pretty good. I also think that Tyler Hansbourogh will do ok in the pros. Too many people get caught up thinking that all white big guys are Will Purdue. They aren't. Memphis has a mess on their hands. But, yeah Conley hasn't developed at all. Might just want to let Mayo run the show. Another reason why I don't get why Crit isn't playing at all. He played pretty wel with Memphis after the trade. (Incidentally, I'd also like him to play and be successful to shut up some of that OMG PAU GASOL FOR KWAME BROWN?!!?!?! nonsense. Marc Gasol was part of that trade and is doing the damn thing. Crit was also in that trade, as well as 2 first rounders. That's no small haul for one dude, even if that one dude is really good.)

  21. I truly believe that the top 3 point guards in the NBA by the end of next season will be Chris Paul, Deron Williams, and Derrick Rose.
  22. Nobody's saying that Big 12 defenses are great. They're saying that youre methodology in "proving" this "fact" of ACC superiority is based on flawed and downright ignorant bases, and if you don't understand why that is, then there's no point in trying to explain it to you.
  23. i'd say so I really expected this to be a tough fought defensive game. And it was, for a half. When Houston took that 16 point lead, I figured the Lakers would eventually bounce back, but I didn't think it would be a 45 point difference. Crazy.
  24. Yeah, I think the Lakers made the statment.
