    The 3-6 spots in the order all have OPSs over .900 against Suppan. Hopefully that's a good sign. Good thing they'll come up after Neifi.

    Also a lot of times if you get there early players flip a lot of balls up into the bleachers. My little brother got one from Derrick May a few years back. yeah. A buddy of mine got one from some Rockies player last year. he threw it back during the 8th inning when someone wouldn't throw a Rockies homer back.

    From the bleacher boxes, I doubt you'll be able to get down close to the field. if you show up about 5 hours early, you can hang out by the entrance to the players' parking lot and try and get some stuff signed. But don't be surprised if the players don't sign stuff since it's opening day and they all want to get to work.

    Have you been there? I have been wanting to get there sometime and see a game. I hear it is amazing. Also, did the Cigar Bar thing go through? yes, i went last year. Tons of Cubs fans, great view, great food and amenities, comfortable seats (with an usher who wipes your seat down for you before you settle in). It's too bad their team sucks and the fans don't come. I have said this before... If it weren't for the ambience factor of Wrigley, PNC would be my favorite ballpark. Just a fantastic venue in every way. Also, to anyone that goes to PNC, eat a Primanti Bros. sandwich. You won't be disappointed.

    Pretty bad when defending someone you can't even defend him and go WAY off topic. Game would've been tied if not for Barrett's 2 bonehead plays. This was only the 2nd game folks, get used to seeing this all year. it's not off topic at all. you said 'chalk this one up to barrett' as if he was the lone reason the cubs lost. that obviously wasn't the case, as evidenced by the walks and home runs. look, we're all fighting with you because you took the picture of that blonde chick out as your avatar and replaced it with some sort of corny sunburst thing. Switch it back and we'll all agree with you.

    Dunn was leading off second, pickoff play, Dunn stumbles back over ther bag and nearly into CF. And we couldn't get him out? :? I think it was one of those fake pickoff plays where nobody actually covers the bag. Nice work, Williamson.

    i'd forgotten about all the random game thread arguments during a bad Cubs performance. Apologies to anyone I have bitched at today. I think I'll go and try to do actual work for a while. I guess that's what i'm getting paid for.

    :roll: Yes, he's being "thrown to the wolves" because a couple of people rightfully called out a bad play he made. I can do that too. :roll: Fun. It seemed to be more than a "call out". I didn't see anyone questioning Lee's team "effort" on his dropped ball. Everyone laughed because it's not cool to rag on Lee. or, since it's a game thread, people were in a good mood then since the Cubs were winning, and now we're all pissed off because they're getting killed. But you can go ahead and jump to random, silly conclusions.

    The genius of Hendry and his love for mediocrity. Wait, are you saying Glendon Rusch is not mediocre? If 4.87=4.00, then you are correct. thought you meant from just last year. From your post, I get 50 earned runs in 92.35 innings for an ERA of 4.87. Lemme know if I'm reading the wrong column, since they're unlabeled.

    Did you see Zito pitch on Monday? Wasn't much better then Rusch's start. But, he's so pretty! Note: nothing against you, KatJ. My fantasy commish (a girl) is obsessed with Zito and how hot she thinks he is. Now back to your regularly scheduled butt-kicking.
