    By new design, do you mean before or after the giant Bud Light Bleachers sign that towers over everything? Before that, I didn't think it was half bad. I kinda liked the extra-wide sidewalk from before, though. The new sidewalk is much narrower (the park extends out about 5 feet from its former width) which is going to make bus dropoff and pickup and bleacher lines very interesting. But this sign is God-awful.

    I walked past the bleachers on my way to work today... As I do every morning. They're taking down the street barricades this morning and doing some final cleanup work around the bleacher entrance. The entrance is much taller and more imposing than it was last year, obviously. Oh yeah, one more thing. THERE'S A HUGE "BUD LIGHT BLEACHERS" METAL SIGN OVER THE ENTIRE ENTRANCE. IT'S HUGE. IT WRAPS AROUND THE WHOLE CORNER OVER THE ENTIRE BLEACHER ENTRANCE. THE WORKERS WERE HAPPILY PUTTING IT UP THIS MORNING. WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Gee, I can't wait for the "Welcome to the Bud Light Bleachers" PA announcement that'll play constantly to those entering. Stupid Tribune Co.

    Ron Santo may be you in the booth, but he is NOT me. He's awful, and I can't stand listening to him. I'm sure you lose track of what you're saying from time to time. Ron Santo just concentrates the frequency of those moments to, say, once every ten or twelve minutes

BTW sethuel, I have another Joe Morgan quote for you from last night's White Sox-Indians game. He said that left handed hitters hate pitches that are low and inside and generally do not hit them well. Nice. What a moron. Go post it in the Joe Morgan is an idiot thread.

    Haha. I did like it earlier when Ron started describing Angel Pagan, then stopped in mid-sentence and left about ten seconds of dead air with a full count, while Pat tried to figure out whether he was going to start talking again or not.
