  1. haha. Might as well laugh our way through this pitching performance.
  2. Yeah! Good thing their shortest ball hit was 350 feet. That bodes well.
  3. Ok, who didn't see that one coming?
  4. The Dan Ryan is currently 2 or 3 lanes, possibly in either direction. It changes traffic patterns on almost a daily basis. Don't take it. No matter what mapquest says. If you're coming from St. Louis, take I-55 to LSD.
  5. The full site with maps and the aforementioned trip planner is here: http://www.transitchicago.com
  6. If I remember right you're about halfway between the Belmont and Fullerton stops. Just walk to the park: it's only about a 1 mile walk right up Clark. Or get on the brown line at Diversey and switch to the red line at Belmont. Too much work for a short trip IMHO You're not lazy enough. Also, how does the transfer of walking across the platform make it so much more work?
  7. The brown line stops that are being closed are wayyyy at the northwest end of the line. Belmont and Diversey are not being closed.
  8. If you're showing up very early (ie more than 3 hours) you can probably find a spot in Wrigleyville, especially the north side of it (Grace to irving Park or so.) Just make sure you're in zone LV2 and not zone 383 for a day game. For night games, this will obviously not work since you'll get towed in either zone. The Sheridan "elbow", where Sheridan turns into Sheffield (look at a map) is completely unzoned.

  10. Oh, and a word of warning (not that this applies to you this time, but just for general information)...parking for night games is well over $25. Wrigleyville Dogs now charges $40, and they're not even EZ out. Also, a lot fot he area around the park is zone 383, while some of it is zone LV2. Zone 383 requires a sticker 24/7. LV2 only requires a sticker from 5-10 PM. Both zones have towing instead of ticketing during night games.
  11. Not usually, unless it's really conspicuous.
  12. No, but I would tattoo the cubs logo on my forehead.
  13. I thought Wuertz looked pretty good. Got a K, and got Pujols to roll over and hit a grounder. It just found the hole on the left side.
  14. The people that live above and below me are going to hate me in about a month because of all the screaming and jumping up and down. Another great part of living in Wrigleyville: if you go crazy during a Cubs game, not only do the neighbors understand, they're probably going crazy also.
  15. [fill in the blank with a word impling lack of matter between the ears] doodyheads? I can't think right now.
  16. Gammons is blowing on his rape whistle. HAHAHAHAHAHA
  17. Oh man. We all need to PM Tim and get him to start a new forum for us to swear to our hearts' content.
  18. List of top 10 people I'd like to punch in the face: 1. Joe Morgan I forget the rest at the moment.
  19. I hate you Joe. Take a damn stand. You're such a piece of crap.
  20. Even on the replay it looked like he held. The replay showed it was nowhere close
