Seems like every game the last couple weeks the bottom of order gets a couple guys on with no outs and the top goes witless or the 2-3-4 guys and they get no runs or score 1 on a SF or ground out

Wasn't giving a prediction there, just saying even if we think low, they should win 20 more games with the upcoming schedule they have left and give them 93 wins which would be great for them, as noone predicted that the Brewers would turn into the 27 Yankees and go off like they did the last 2 months. I gave my thoughts the other day on how many I think they should win with the remaining schedule at the very least. Which was 22-24, as the only teams they play that above 500 and still in a playoff chase are the Reds and Mets ( 7 total games). so yea, cubs should be sitting around 95 wins at the end, and nobody should be upset at that. Hopefully they're all hitting and pitching well at the end of it and can carry it into the playoffs.

34 games remaining after today... On a low end, there absolutely zero reasons this team shouldn't win at least 20 of them and end up with at least 93 wins on the year. Sucks the Brewers turned into the 27 Yankees the last 2 months while they were just staying above 500 over those games, but cant complain much about winning 93 or more games if they can win 20 more against non playoff teams the rest of way. Just need to hope the cubs overall can get hot and healthy heading into the final weeks of September and into the playoffs .

Yea I normally dont give Counsell shitt, but I have zero idea what his thinking was today. 3 game win streak against the team your chasing, mostly cause of good pitching and riding 2 young hot bats, so what does he do? bench the 2 bats that been in the middle of everything positive in those 3 games. Way to kill momentum

How many times have we seen 2 guys on and no outs with Tucker Zuki and PCA due up in the last couple weeks and got nothing? Something good gotta happen once soon
