Im starting to think alot of these HP umps blink/close their eyes on alot of pitches and then look to see where catcher's glove is at.

His PA was mentioned, that part of his PA. He hit 20 HR in 2022, other then that he was bad .205 Avg and .304 OBP 1/3 of his hits were homeruns, not a bad thing but...

His first 3 seasons he was bad, he was good last season and first 2 months this season and then went south. So, close to 2/3 of those PA he has been bad

Not sure if they can play at a almost 700 clip to close out season, I'll take just getting and staying over 500 to close out August and then see where they're at come the last 2 weeks of season before I start thinking and hoping for playoffs.

He likely will end up being a reliever but he really hasn't been the same since his injury. Hopefully he'll return to norm next season after resting in offseason

Fangraph shows the whole 9 mil that the Cubs pay. They are slightly under the 237 mil cap as of now.
