Is Ohtani supposed to return to pitching again this season? I think if both continue to hit well, that could be the difference between Ohtani winning the MVP over PCA. Ohtani pitching will overtake PCA defense with the writers voting decision

That week against the Jays and Mets got him out of being awful, but since then hes been pretty much up and down with a few good games and series squeezed in between his 0fers.

Caught a bit of Counsell on radio pregame, sounds like Garrett going to be eased back because he hasn’t pitched much this year (4 innings), they want to build him up. So, probably get a few games in Iowa this month and come up in September to get some bullpen innings in, they really dont need him as a starter this year.

Theyre gonna find themselves having a good problem to figure out when all these arms return and should build themselves up a pretty strong pitching staff for a solid September push against the Brewers and into the postseason.

Gonna likely come down to the Jeckyll and Hyde bats in the postseason. They couldn't scratch 2-3 runs against the Yankees pitching and get 10 yesterday and 5 today off the Dodgers

Would it be a bad thing to go with a 6 man rotation now? Imanaga Boyd Gausman Holmes Peterson Assad Cabrera returns in 2 weeks, somebody gonna be going to the pen then. They went from not having enough SP to having too many now.. lol
