  1. It usually the reason for alot of their losses, id bet in majority of their losses of 3 runs or less they probably left at least 8 guys on base or quite a few in scoring position with less than 2 outs. I know it sounds silly to complain about a team offense after scoring 7 runs, it just that with this pitching staff, you need these guys to capitalize as much as possible when they have the opportunity, because like today, 5+ runs just might not be enough all too often.
  2. Why cant they find guys who can hit in April and May too ? 🙄🙄🙄
  3. 3 opportunities in the 10th with bases loaded, 2 weak grounders and a strike out. Now the Brewers 🙄🙄🙄
  4. Fuk, these guys just cant seem to get that big ass hit that could be a dagger, even when they put 7 on the board
  5. Honestly, I dont remember, I just saw him half jog to 3rd after they retrieved the ball, and assumed he was on first. Even if he was on 2nd, I wouldn't of sent his slow penquin ass home on a full run
  6. He probably jogged to second, and down 3 it dont really matter
  7. They have good players, problem is they struggle all too often and mostly at the same time. Scoring 4 is great, but as we see in alot of games and especially in games that they lose by a couple runs, they have opportunity after opportunity to put up more runs and cant. That the frustrating part
  8. Ballgame, 20-3 to currently 2-6 This pitching staff gonna be the death of this team
  9. Im just not over the hump with this team as a whole, pitching not exactly reliable, and the offense, theyre like good good bad good bad bad good bad bad bad good good bad bad , etc etc etc, it frustrating.
  10. That a bit of the problem Counsell has, he cant keep going to the pen in the 5th inning every game, he has to push these starters to try and get those extra outs in the 5th and sometimes in the 6th, otherwise theres going to be a revolving door of relievers between Iowa and Chicago.
  11. Not anymore than blowing an opportunity to play in the postseason by trotting out Taillon, Rea, and Boyd every 5th day
  12. If Mets are really serious about moving guys on June 1st, Jed better be on the phone with them for Peralta
  13. They hopefully will have or go with Imanaga Cabrera Brown Steele and a new guy via trade by then. Keep whomever they want in the pen and whatever with who they dont.
  14. Might as well push it as long as possible, save some of the pen for Rea tomorrow
  15. Taillon, Rea , and Boyd hopefully wont be in the rotation come August 1st
