  1. Right, lol Who gives a horsefeathers what kind of juice box they like to drink in the dugout. Lol
  2. Guess Brown pitch count got increased tonight, hes over 70
  3. Happ OPS continues to sink, hes now under .800 at .796. His strikeouts continue to rise 68 now
  4. Me too, they need him now, but I like the idea of having him available to get them 3 innings/once through the order when needed.
  5. Outside of Nico, this is a lineup full of guys looking to slug over making contact and finding holes. How many times have we seen runner on 3rd less than 2 outs and see a popup or strike out? I know Hoyer extended everyone and all, but he gonna need to find a way to make some changes to the everyday lineup for next season
  6. Thanks, I figured it was bad, but not this awful. I know Counsell dont have much to choose from, but eventually he needs to try something different other than Bregman, and Happ at 3-4
  7. How much longer do they give Ballesteros before sending him down to work on things and adjust. 3 for his last 48
  8. For me personally, nothing, im a fan of small ball, especially when guys/team are struggling. SB, hit n runs, bunt for hits are awesome when executed
  9. That first inning is the biggest difference between Cubs and Brewers offensively
  10. Yep.. Cubs can get on base, they just struggle to get that big hit afterwards most of time
  11. RISP Brewers 289/387/442/830 535 PA Cubs 233/333/363/696 570 PA
  12. Anyone hear if Brown pitch count is extended for tonight, hopefully to at least 80
  13. Agree, just saying not sure how much this pitching staff gonna hold on until then
  14. Hoyer has a rotation that cant get through 5 innings, and a bullpen filled with mostly dumpster bin signings and some rejects. Not sure if he can wait til the deadline to fix this
  15. He's having his worse year in strikeouts this season 66 Ks 171 AB 38% of his outs
  16. Right, Counsell has made some wacky decisions, but hard to jump on him when Starters cant get him 5 good innings, and the offense cant put runs on the board. Cant just keep burning up the bullpen to get through 4-5 innings every game
