  1. They have to bring Bellinger back, he gas to be number one priority after season.
  2. I told my buddy after he walked Bellinger, watch him strike out both Swanson and Suzuki now.. Wasted a great opportunity to score a bunch and get into their bullpen in the first inning
  3. Gotta let KT finish the 9th now, tonight game most likely gonna be a bullpen game with Greene going, hopefully he'll get them 4 or 5.
  4. Did you really think Happ wasn't gonna get his this game.. 😅😅😅
  5. Kid looks like he has some good composure out there and don't let baserunners rattle him.
  6. Why not, especially with a likely bullpen game tonight, gotta squeeze some juice out of him. Bats need to score a few too
  7. Looked like Wicks pulled his glove back thinking Swanson was gonna be there
  8. Bats gonna have to be on today for both games with Wicks (2nd start) and Greene(bullpen game).. Gotta give these guys some breathing room
  9. Saw that the Cubs put in 2 claims.. Lopez and Moore
  10. Also gives them a head start with working with and possibly signing one or two before FA period starts
  11. Depending on amount of teams ahead of ya, i remember when the talk was always about if you can be within 5 games of division on September 1st, you have a chance.
  12. I didn't know you can win multiple claims at once, I thought if you claimed one, you gad to wait til your next turn to claim another.
  13. They can add at least two more, the TOR they might trade for, others they'll invite to ST, also possibly Brown, Horton, Wesneski.. Theyll have enough depth arms
  14. If Assad and Wicks gives them QS the rest of season, how do you not want both in the rotation next season with Steele? Theyll just need a TOR starter, likely via trade. TOR, Steele, Taillon, Assad, Wicks Of course Stroman opting in would change that but yea, they just need to add one top arm not two. Brown and Horton would be depth or possibly one of them and or maybe Assad could be used to net that TOR starter.
  15. Guessing they'll wait til tomorrow when they can add to the roster
  16. Horton and Brown may be the two starters to keep an eye next season for call ups and 2025. Hopefully the cubs can be in a position next years trade deadline that maybe moving a young SP prospect can gain them a top level player that will help them become serious WS contenders
  17. I dont think they need 2 starters, yes it'll be determined a bit by how Assad and Wicks finishes the season out but if those two finish good, then they're set with at least 4 in the rotation ( Taillon unfortunately). I think their main wait and see will be with Stroman, I don't think they'll bring Hendricks back. Stroman though, if they're hoping to use his money and Hendricks money to upgrade the pitching, Hoyer may try and work something out with him so he doesn't opt in.
  18. Big weekend Series with the Reds, not only to put distance between the two but to also gain ground on the two teams ahead of them in the Brewers for the Division and Phillies for no.1 WC spot as they both play each other.
  19. Don't disagree but again, isn't it time to move on from Hendricks after this season over paying him 16 mil for depth? I forgot Stroman if he picks up his option
  20. To take who spot ?? Aren't we hoping for Steele, Wicks, Assad, (stuck with Taillon) and adding another TOR type starter ? Edit : Also Stroman if he picks up his option Great that Hendricks pitching well lately but isn't it time to move on from him now? He'll be 34 next season
