Hoyer gonna just shock us all with whatever he's cooking up, I mean it has to be a big deal hes getting done otherwise why wait til the final minutes to get an agreement on lesser players ? Of course there could be no deals made 😒

The only explanation I tell myself is that maybe the hold up is that the trading team is waiting til closer to the end to see if any interested team will up their offer and if not then decide which offer is enough to say yes to or like you say to just pull the player and hold them. Which means we could see teams in that last hour pull their offers and move on to their plan B-C-D cause they don't want to wait and risk losing plan B too.

You'd think seeing what the other top NL playoff teams have done so far to improve their rosters, you'd think Hoyer would be a little more aggressive in getting who he wants now. Sorry, but Soroka and Kittredge, although makes the pen better, doesn't quite push the needle for me. Need to get that SP and another bat

Is Ballesteros a legit Catcher though as far as him being on the 2026 roster as a 2nd Catcher behind Amaya because unless theres an OF shakeup and Suzuki is no longer the main DH, I dont see Ballesteros being in the 2026 plan that gets him 400-500 AB.
