  1. Funny seeing a team technically not give up a real run in a game but get charged with one and lose 😅 When one Ghost Runner is the only runner that crosses homeplate in the game
  2. That funny, I never realized before how quick he was getting there, but tonight he was literally right next to nico who was still running home and had to pause to let him go by and that what got me wondering. I was like PCA the kind of guy whose excitement would have him smacking Nico on the ass as he went by him lol.. To that rule though, umpire may not initially do anything but just hope a manager doesn't get pissy and decide to challenge it one time with him being in field of play.
  3. He's still a young man, maybe he has a crush and is shy 😅
  4. Question came to mind as I just saw replay of PCA running onto field. He was already next to Hoerner before Hoerner was even close to touching plate, and not sure if he was or wasn't on field of play before he did touch it. My question is if anyone knows for sure, had PCA touched Hoerner would Hoerner been called out and does MLB have a rule about players being on field of play while play is technically still live if he hadn't touched the plate yet. Just curious
  5. Yea, once he seen it was going deep he should of just let it go
  6. Said the other day it would be funny after all the worries the last week with the Brewers and Cardinals cutting into the 5-6 game lead they had if by the end of this weekend they get the lead right back to that. It back up to 4 on Brewers and 5.5 on Cardinals, take care of Buisness with the Cardinals and it could get back there.
  7. Didn't realize Clase only threw 7 pitches..lol Come on Busch, just get him to third
  8. Ok let end this now so they dont have to burn up anymore relievers for tomorrow
  9. Well if Flexen can keep them scoreless the Cubs will have Hoerner on at 2B with Busch hitting and no Clase to deal with.
  10. Sometimes I think it done on purpose, it not WF if you dont get the crowd roar and camera angle on every flyball, if you're not paying attention to TV you'd think everyone was jacking homeruns lol
  11. Crowd and camera angle makes you think Hoerner jacked one but it just an easy fly out..lol
  12. What did the ump see he never touched him Edit: ok he misses the base
  13. Of course he gives up a leadoff baserunner.. Thought maybe they'd go with Keller or Hodge here.
  14. Bats are just not charged tonight , likely not but maybe they came into tonight looking ahead to the Cardinals series and just wasn't ready to go.
  15. Let Go !!!!!!! Palencia likely shut down after back to back so we'll probably see Hodge or Flexen in the 9th
  16. Why i agree with you in that as much as im rooting for Shaw, I think Hoyer might have to go get a big RH bat ( hopefully Suarez) to help Suzuki and be that other threat from the right side to keep teams honest and from loading up with lefties to face the Cubs LHers. We'll see
  17. Not a good start Pomeranz, need you to stay clean tonight.
  18. That the thing with this team is that 3 of their 5 big hitters are lefties in Tucker PCA and Busch, and one is a SH who is much better from the left side Happ. When facing a lefty they need to rely more on Suzuki and then hope they get something from Swanson and the others, it just hasn't seem to happen as much as we would like it to with the others.
  19. Could see teams loading up their pen with an extra lefty or two when facing the Cubs going forward, it been their kryptonite since forever.... Could definitely see it being done in the playoffs ...
  20. 2-3 runs should be enough to win this one, let go already
