According to @JesseRogersESPN, Dansby Swanson has a Grade 2 oblique strain. Normal timetable is 4-6 weeks, lines him up to be ready for postseason.

Cubs arguably have their 3 top SP going in this series, but itll likely come down to what the offense and bullpen does.

2 years left with Cabrera... They have 3 options with him this offseason for 2027. Obviously Work with him and get him ready to be better in 2027 as a SP. Maybe they could turn him into a late inning reliever setup/closer. Trade him for a starting position player/Outfielder.. 🤷🤷🤷

You're right, but likely in their thinking, hes the guy they traded for in offseason to be that guy for them in the rotation, so they have to give him another opportunity here.

How come pitchers get whatever time needed to warm up after an injury but hitters have to come in cold to bat for someone that gets hurt? They should be able to get a few swings in cage before coming out 🤔🤔😅😅
