  1. I dont know when he's been getting his hits but it feels like he hasn't had more than 2 or 3 of them in well over a month 😅
  2. They just showed his season stats with games played, I cant believe he has been in 75 games, I figured 40 to 50..lol
  3. Don't even have to cut him, just IL him for the year with a sore back or something.
  4. That what I say, let him DH against the RHer Rasmussen 😅
  5. Doesn't matter, only care about our guys and how theyre playing heading into the playoffs. We're seeing them lose games against bad teams now with less talented players, so yea I'd feel better if our guys were playing better going into the playoffs against better teams and players then the ones they've been losing to.
  6. Im sure Lester, Ross, Fowler, and Zobrist will definitely be there, maybe Heyward, Miggy, and Arrieta
  7. Rizzo will get this team headed in the right direction to finish this year off.
  8. IMO.. Record wise no not really meaningful, although you'd like to see some positive momentum going into the playoffs the final 10 games or so... Players wise, having key guys struggle for the most part their final 30-60 games isnt exactly comforting heading into the post season. So, these last 2 weeks it would be really good to start seeing guys playing better and pick up some positive momentum heading into the playoffs.
  9. Might as well, Mets are the only playoff team they have on schedule now with 17 left. Keep Tucker out til that final homestand and then get him in a couple games there to get his timing back, and give the others a couple days off the last week of season.
  10. Magic Number to clinch a playoff birth 10 Giants
  11. Brown the new closer 😅 W And still haven't loss 4 in a row
  12. I dont think anyone really fears that they'll miss the playoffs at this point, theyre not "collapsing", theyre just playing 500 ball over the last 2 months and not looking like a team that could seriously make some noise in the playoffs. I get outside of the Brewers that the other playoff teams haven't been playing all that great themselves but we fans mainly see what our guys are doing every game against so so pitching and it frustrating to feel like they'll just lay an egg when they actually face a team top 2 starters and best pen guys in a series.
  13. There you go Shaw and smart play by Nico and he ends up scoring... About time they cash in after loading the bases
  14. Excited about Horton and seeing how he can follow up this season next year but as I was looking at what the rotation could look like next season, I didn't realize both Boyd and Taillon were both still under contract for another season. So the rotation looking to be the same as this season with Imanaga Horton Boyd and Taillon. Steele is projected to return in May or June, so they will need a 5th starter until then which could be Assad or one of Civale Soroka or Gomber if they choose to bring anyone of them back as depth and or for the pen. So yea, I think we're going to probably see a quiet offseason and possibly be sellers at the deadline with moving guys on expiring contracts.
  15. So who gets the 8th? Theilbar or does Counsell try to sneak in Hodge or Pomeranz with Keller to get the 9th
  16. Yea, im confused He had a no hitter and was pulled at 75 pitches, today he gets 87 pitches 🤷‍♂️
  17. So odd innings they load the bases but only score 1 run, and even innings it a quick 1-2-3 Got it
  18. Crazy how in June we thought both PCA and Suzuki could easily hit 35-40 HRs and both have over 100 RBI and here we are with 17 games to go after this and both may not reach 100 RBI and could possibly not reach 30 HRs 🙄
  19. Bases loaded and yep they leave them stranded..lol
  20. I think it depends on what their plans are for guys like Caissie Ballesteros Long etc that are ready or close to it as far as when (offseason/Deadline) or if they trade Suzuki Happ and or Hoerner, all in final year of contract in 2026. I personally think that we wont see any major additions in the offseason as far as position players goes, probably just add one or two Turner types for the bench. Yea, I can see 2026 roster basically being the same guys position players wise outside of Tucker and they look to trade Happ Suzuki and or Hoerner in July so they can bring up and or start playing the young guys more in the second half.
  21. I guessed yesterday for the IL, I was a day off. They waited a full week of him being hurt before putting him on the IL. Funny how Counsell said last Friday that he might play over the weekend and 4 days later he's put on the IL. I wish someone would ask Hoyer why he waits so long to IL an injured player
  22. Probably why he takes alot of time off now.. It either a rookie broadcaster or a guy who talks his ears off with stats and random horsefeathers. I know im the minority in here and that ok but for me Boog is just annoying to listen to, I prefer someone who embraces my team and calls the game like a real fan of the team.
  23. 9 and 10 to finish season is likely to happen. What suckks is that they were 48 and 33 after 81 games on pace for 96 wins so finishing 42 and 39 would be a little bit of a disappointment only because you hoped they would finish strong the last month.
