    Kyle Tucker gets traded at the deadline, is that bold enough 😅

    Im only talking about these 2 games, not the whole season. I know Tucker going to hit and the Cubs offense will be fine overall, but i just think for these 2 games they're going to need something out of him if they're gonna have a chance at putting up a few runs.

    Had he gotten 10 hits, id be alot more comfortable in feeling like they could have a pulse in these 2 games even against the Dodgers pitching and a chance to put up a few runs, but him not doing much makes it harder. Imanaga, Steele, and the bullpen gonna need to be sharp if they're gonna try and get at least 1 win in this series.

    Yea, I gotta bad feeling these 2 games against the Dodgers may be very low scoring on the Cubs part if he not hitting.

    Right, they play 2 exhibition games in Japan before the Dodger series. These extra players will play for most of those 2 games

    Im liking Workman, I hope what he doing in ST carries into the season. Would be great if he can become a super utility guy for this team going forward.

    That was my question before, would they need to put Taillon, Boyd, or Rea on roster for Japan or just carry extra relievers. So, looks like they'll add 2 extra relievers

    Talking more later in the season, the second half. I can see 1 or both possibly not being in the rotation any longer. More Rea then Boyd

    Wait, this was only a 5 year deal with Xfinity? It took them forever to get a deal done with Xfinity in 2020

    It ok, he'll get a few Iowa starts to get himself more ready. I dont see Rea and maybe even Boyd starting many games, especially in the 2nd half.

    Fun game today, everyone getting on base and good pitching. I like Cohen and Sweeney calling the games, hopefully we get this duo most of year and maybe takeover from Boog and JD when they leave.

    Yea, I can see a merry go round rotation between playing the OF and DH with Happ,PCA,Tucker, and Suzuki giving them rest from the field and days off.

    Not sure of the roster rules but for the 2 games in Japan they don't need to add Taillon, Boyd, or Assad to the main roster do they ? They could add a couple bullpen arms and or extra bat if they want cant they ?

    Bruce Levine News from Cubs camp-Rookie Matt Shaw told me and @WatchMarquee he will start playing in games the next few games with no hesitation or restrictions.Dealing with oblique issue since Feb 5th. Jesse Rodgers Cubs 2b Nico Hoerner won't go to Japan with the team to open the season next month. He's still recovering from flexor tendon surgery. He'll stay back to continue his rehab.
