My first thought was hitters because I figured this would force pitchers to throw more into the zone, so yea maybe at first it would benefit pitching cause theyd be trying to hit the edges more, and then maybe cause like you said hitters will start to figure out that zone better with more and more PA.

If they got the ump bot for balls n strikes, and not the challenges , who do you all think would benefit? Hitters or Pitchers I think pitchers would benefit slightly only because they'd get more of those real close calls on the edges where hitters would take. So , I think scoring would be down alot because of that

Only makes sense, especially if theyre getting something out of Caissie, and it also makes no sense to have him up to just sit. Start giving these OFers multiple days off just to get themselves refresh.

I think so too, and probably another blow out. Maybe with everyone still in the clubhouse after that first game, players spoke up and horsefeathers got aired out.. Who knows

Sometimes moves like this can ignite a team a bit, like i said earlier, I'd just sit him the whole series and see how it plays out. If anything he comes back this weekend refresh and ready to go

Agree, I'll never understand PH for a guy early in a game, bench is already short, so now you got Tucker who you're trying to give time off to and the catcher with 4 innings to play and a 2 run game. Just let him hit, cause like with Busch the last time I guarentee his spot will come up later against a RHer
