  1. That would be the obvious choice, not sure why CC is so set on leaving Swanson in the middle.
  2. Might be becoming mentally for him now, and hes just trying too hard.
  3. Ok, limited them to just the 2, now shut them down the rest of way.
  4. Welcome to the new age of baseball where you get bullpen games and openers instead of going with true starters even if they need to come up from the minors
  5. Oh well, hope the bats dont have a letdown game after yesterday, may need 10 today.
  6. Yea, that didn't work out so well. He looked off the other night and needed help getting out of the inning scoreless.
  7. In all seriousness, even if they stick with Shaw at 3B because at least he's been solid with the glove there, the regulars on offense has proven to be solid overall, and because of that, Hoyer just needs to really focus on bringing in the needed pitching before the deadline that could put them not just division contenders but also be serious contenders to win the pennant and WS.
  8. So, could use another upgrade at 3B, SS, and LF.. Top 5 or go home 😏😏😏
  9. Yea, id be surprise if Hoyer doesn't look to add a 3Bmen at the deadline. Just have Shaw go to Iowa for a month and work on his new swing.
  10. This is a first, I've never seen the leading team in a blow out go with a position player to pitch and of course their first 2 guys reaches base.
  11. Busch with number 3... love it 8 for the Cubs a franchise record in a game, I want 2 more now for 10
  12. Swanson joins the HR barrage, that double digits for runs. 7 bombs let get another one
  13. That what thought, I guess NY doesn't do tie to the runner
  14. He having a pretty good season for the Dodgers in A ball
  15. Reminding me of 1984 Cubs with 6 guys haven't double digits HRs and 80+ RBI. Not sure if this team will get 6 guys getting 80+ RBI, should be close
