    Looks like the league has voted in favor of having an amatuer draft. This will take place sometime after MLB has their amatuer draft on June 5th & 6th. (Monday, June 9th) - It will be 5 rounds and the draft order will be the current standings at the time of the draft (based on 1.record 2.points). This draft will not snake. - It is an optional draft. If you will not be participating please let me know before hand. - Only players that have just been drafted or are not currently on the CBS database at the time of the draft are eligible. If a player is added to the database prior to the amatuer draft he is free game - You will have the right to these players but they will not be added to your roster until they are added to the CBS database. We will keep a thread with the draft results of who took what players. - The draft will be held here on these boards and each team will have 24 hours to make their pick. If you do not make your pick within the 24hrs, it will be forfeited. Please do not take the full 24hrs if not needed. - The draft clock will start once I post the draft thread here on these forums. The draft will start Monday, June 9th unless anyone has an objection with that date.

    I will be the first to admit that the Sox have been extremely lucky that the pitching has come around this season at the same time the hitting has been below average. Danks and Floyd were the wildcards and they have come up huge along with Contreras. Now, if we can get Swisher, Konerko and Thome going....look out! :yahoo:

    Jeremy has left the league do to personel reasons and he just didn't have the time he thought he would to be an active member of the league which he was sorry for. We wish him the best in his endeavors even though he was with us a very short time. Let's now welcome to the league, Nick, who is taking over the Spartans franchise. Nick was brought to us by Hosak and he sounds like he will be an active owner. Looking over the Spartans roster he's got his work cut out for him.

    My question is why was Upton dropped in the first place. :scratch: I would start making trade offers to that team pronto.

    Did you ever reach him? I get that he's trying to sell his house. I'm trying to buy one, and it's the busiest time of year for me at work right now, and I still have time to sign in and check my team's status and set rosters. Not doing anything at all after being given a spot in the league over a guy who would be very active is a bit ridiculous. I got ahold of him and adjustments are going to be made to his roster tonight.

    That they have. This is team is 20-15 outside of playing the Cubs. They just need some seasoning.
