  1. Cabrera has given up like 40% of the pen's runs since then
  2. Sure we are, but he's a rookie. His contact has been awful. He needs better barrel control and increased discernment for which pitches to swing at. He swings weakly at a lot of junk. Once he tightens that up his hard/EV should perk up a bit. But there are many adjustments that need to be made for sure.
  3. 111.5 on that bomb tonight. Set a new career high by 3 mph and be did it on a DONG 2 minutes after making a 5% catch at a critical point in the game. What a treasure.
  4. Hodge pitched a scoreless inning with a 1:1
  5. Really strong win. The pitchers shut it down after the 1st.
  6. Potential blow up inning coming, Brown is throwing strikes or uncompetitive pitches.
  7. Dansby you dont always have to swing at first pitch strikes. Your approach sucks ass.
  8. 2 balls smoked off of the knuckle curve. If they take that away Brown will be skewered.
  9. I wasn't speaking to this year. Admittedly I didn't look. It just feels like a profile that over the last couple years we struggled with.
  10. The Patrick dude has been pretty tough and he has the sinker/cutter arsenal that can give us fits. They got him for Abraham Toro? Damn.
  11. 8 perfect with 16 Ks. He's gotta be closing in on a tourney record if he finishes the job.
  12. He looks like a really solidly built dude
  13. Long Franklin Mo Caissie?
  14. I want him to get the platinum glove. I still think he will finish with over 6 fwar, maybe 7. Somewhere in the top 3-5. Even this month he's still hitting above-average and his other tools provide such a sturdy foundation to build on.
  15. Ohtani has overtaken PCA slightly for the NL lead in fwar. PCA still leads the NL in dwar but Ke'Bryan Hayes is now .1 under him and Mason Wynn of all people is creeping up right behind them at 8.9.
  16. The Cubs arent signing Tucker. Read the tea leaves guys. He was always going to be a rental. The whole time Jed has basically alluded to this fact, he just won't come right out and say it.
  17. Brennen has absolutely lit it up in the Yankees system, 250 wRC+ in his first 10 games. I bet he makes his debut pretty soon. Get some MLB production before he breaks again.
  18. Very fortuitous positioning by that RF
